PATRICK BRADY QUINN was a true International Ambassador in Baseball.
PQ passed away on Thursday, Oct 18, 2007. For whatever reason, he felt it was his time to be taken into the next world.
#44 was a huge part of the American Eagles program.
PQ personally incorporated the Eagles as a non-profit organization in 2002 and he served on the Board of Directors from the corporate inception until the day he left us in 2007.
PQ partipated in 5 trips to Australia as an Assistant Coach and also a Head Coach. He assisted athletes with his own funds to those that might otherwise not be able to afford the trip.
PQ also contributed greatly to hosting international teams that visited San Diego, his home since college.
He gave much of his life and his heart to baseball. He loved to share his love for the game with people all over the world. PQ touched the lives of hundreds of players in all corners of the planet, on and off the field.
All that played on an Eagles tour with PQ will never forget him often saying; "God Bless the American Eagles!"
From all the Eagles; "God Bless you, PQ."
We won't forget you, PQ. #44 will be on the Eagles' roster forever.
A Memorial Scholarship fund in PQ's name will be established to assist players in financial need to have the opporunity to partipate with the Eagles and represent the USA as an International Ambassador in Baseball.
All contributions are tax-deductible.
