Atlanta Braves
supporting the American Eagles in Australia

The American Eagles have been fortunate to have been sponsored in part by the Atlanta Braves in 1998 and 1999.

The Braves provided game hats and souvenirs for the Eagles to distribute to the Australian youth baseballers.

For many years the Braves have been renowned for developing baseball internationally. They have been very involved with Australian baseball since the inception of professional baseball downunder in 1989. The Braves have sgined several Australian prospects over the years, including bonus-baby Glenn Williams.

The Eagles are very grateful to Paul Snyder, Director of Scouting, Bobbie Cranford in the Atlanta Braves Scouting Department, and the International Supervisor, Bill Clark, for their support of the Eagles.
