1. Keep the tools,screws, and bolts that come with the fingerboard
2. Buy one of those kits with extra trucks and parts because they have cool wheels and you never know when you'll need the extra parts.
3. Put all your little tools in a plastic container when you're skating away from home because you might need to tighten your kingpin or make a repair.
4. When skating on slippery surfaces attach your ramp to the ground with sticky tack so they don't slide around.
5. There is only one modification that I've heard of for a Techdeck Fingerboard. That modification is to replace the cruddy plastic bushings with rubber. You would do this by putting rubber bands on the kingpin. I've heard that braces rubber bands work pretty well.
