| A famuos haunting took place in Samuel Wesleys house in Epworth, Lincolnshire. "Old Jeffrey" is what they called the ghost that kept them awake on th night of December 1,1716 with groans and a few nights later with loud knocking noises. The polterighiest seemed to be coming from thier 19-year old son,Hetty Wesley,who was usually asleep when the noises occurred. After a while it faded away. |
