Major Trades
There was a blockbuster trade at the beginning of the draft involving Eli Manning and Phillip Rivers. The Giants traded Phillip Rivers, this year's 3rd round pick, and next years' 1st and 5th round picks all to get Eli Manning from the Chargers.
Another trade involving my Browns and the Lions was really a steal for Detroit and another dumb move my Cleveland. Detroit gets Cleveland's 2nd round pick this year and the Bronwns move up a pick to number 6 to draft Kellan Winslow.
Later in the first round, the Philadelphia Eagles traded their 1st round pick (#28) and their 2nd round pick (#58) with San Fransisco to get the #16 pick which they used to draft Shawn Andrews.
The Buffalo Bills traded their 2nd and 5th round picks this year as well as next year's 2nd round pick with the Dallas Cowboys to trade up to the 22nd pick and draft J.P. Lossman.
The Rams traded their 1st round and 5th round picks to Cincinnatti to move up two spots and take Stephen Jackson.
The Texans traded their 2nd, two fo their 3rd, and their 4th round picks with the Titans to get another 1st round pick and a 5th. They used the first round pick to draft Jason Babin.
The Panthers traded their first round and 4th round with San Francisco to move up and draft Chris Gamble.
The Falcons traded their 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks with Indianapolis to move up and draft Michael Jenkins and a 3rd round pick.
The Lions traded their 2nd 3rd and 5th round picks with Kansas City to move up and draft Kevin Jones.
