Doom Legacy - Pretty decent gameplay with this doom engine. Not a very good multiplayer engine, but makes for good single player action. More info on it here: Doom Legacy
Skulltag - Not as great when it comes to the visual enhancements you see in Legacy, but has a heck of a better multiplayer. At this point and time, this is MY favorite doom engine. This one even has bots for DM!
Zdaemon - Based off of Zdoom for both Windows and UNIX (server only at this time), purposely-built for playing multiplayer games of Doom over the Internet. Very worthy of downloading mainly because of the large ONLINE community that comes with Zdaemon.
Zdoom - Many of the ports today are based off of Zdoom in one way or another! With the available GL and other great editing features for mappers, this one is gold!
NOTE: 2.0.63 is MANDATORY for playing RTC 3057 HUB 1. For some reason, you can not play it on any other version. You can download it HERE! |
