The Verdict
Rogue Squadron is everything a Star Wars game can and should be. If the opening level of Shadows of the Empire got you excited, here's a whole game with that level of excitement, only taken to the next level. Perfect in almost every way, the game realistically simulates the Star Wars universe down to the little details. The graphics are top-notch, and with the N64's optional RAM expansion pack, they look even better. There are plenty of missions, the choice of vehicles is staggering, and the difficulty level is set just right.
You don't have to be a die-hard Star Wars fan to enjoy this one, but if you are, you'll love it even more.
