| How to Make Poems & Dolls Using Doll-Magic |
IMPORTANT! If you are new to Doll-Magic, read these directions closely! Doll-Magic is NOT like any other doll maker. 1) Selecting Sets. Select sets of doll pieces and text labels from the dropdown lists. Red dropdowns contain doll pieces. Blue dropdowns contain text labels. You can create poems using text labels (just like refrigerator magnets) and you can mix text labels and image graphics to create composite objects to save as your dolls. FYI. Any set marked with a * is new! Note: ONLY doll pieces contained in the Design Box are kept when changing sets. If you want to carry a piece forward, be sure to put it in the Design Box before you change sets. 2) Left Mouse Button. DRAG Doll Piece or Text Label into Design Box. 3) Double Click. COPY Doll Piece or Text Label into Design Box. 4) Right Mouse Button. Set Properties for Doll Piece or Text Label. Properties include layering, sizes, colors, special effects, fonts, and text. 5) Design Box. Make sure your Doll Pieces and Text Labels are contained in the Design Box. Otherwise, they will not be preserved when you change to a new set. 6) Saving Your Poem or Doll. Click Save Doll to save your poem or doll. See below... 7) Gallery Rooms. After you save your poem or doll, you can add it to a Gallery Room. Doll-Magic gives you more than 6,000 Gallery Rooms where you can display your poems and dolls. Be sure to select the Gallery Room you want BEFORE you click Add to Gallery Room. Otherwise, your work will be placed RANDOMLY into one of Gallery Rooms A to Z. Rooms A through Z are huge, and you will have difficulty finding your work later. Tip. Look around and choose a Gallery Room before you create your poems or dolls. That way, you will know in advance where you will display them. |
| Saving Your Poem or Doll |

Click on the Rainbow Bar to set a background.
Click Off to remove the background. Check Frame to save with a picture frame. Check Crop to save with trimming. Enter Doll Name and Your Name before you click Save Doll. |
