| Snakes - Spell EKANS backwards and you get SNAKE. Spell ARBOK backwards and you get KOBRA. Spanish Pokemon? By Pokedex number, first its Articuno, then Zapdos, and finally Moltres. Look again: ArticUNO, ZapDOS, MolTRES. See what I mean. Sounds and Pokemon alike - When you battle a wild Pokemon in the GameBoy, it makes a sound. In Japan, its sound is its name. Example: In Pewter City, find the Jigglypuff in the PokeCenter. Talk to it. Read the words: Puuuuu! Pu! In Japanese its name is Purin.
