Dragons Fury: Part III

One day, Dragon’s Fury decided that they should leave Boulder City and go to the mountains that were close to Boulder City. These mountains were called Boulder Peaks. Dragon’s Fury left for Boulder Peaks because they decided the pokemon of Boulder City had nothing more to teach them, and besides, they wanted to catch some new ones. Dragon’s Fury went to the base of Boulder Peaks and immediately found some powerful pokemon. They found a ponyta, but it ran from them, and they also saw some arboks. Aaron saw a zapdos fly over their heads, but he didn’t tell anybody. He saw that the zapdos flew to the top of the highest peak, and he decided that he would explore over there later. Dragon’s Fury also saw some nidorino’s and nidorina’s running around and they decided to follow them. They followed them into a cave, where they saw all types of poison pokemon. They saw arboks, grimers, muks, ekans, zubats, and some koffings. Dragon’s Fury then saw one nidorino near the back of the cave. They moved towards it when all of a sudden they heard a loud stomping sound. They froze. Aaron told them that he had heard a stomping similar to this when he saw charizard walking towards him when he was in the volcano at Beru, but he also said that this was much louder. When Dragon’s Fury finally saw the source of the stomping, they gasped. Right in front of them was the largest nidoking and the largest nidoqueen any of them had ever seen. The nidoking asked them in English why they had entered his cave. Aaron answered for them and said that they had followed some nidorinos into the cave because they were hoping to catch one. The nidoqueen said that they would not be allowed to catch a nidorino and that because of their stupidity they must die. Dragon’s Fury said to the nidoqueen that they didn’t have to listen to any of this so they turned to leave. When they did turn around they discovered that they would have a problem getting out. All of the pokemon they had seen when they were entering the cave were blocking their way out. Immediately, Dragon’s Fury let all of their pokemon out of their pokeballs. Aaron, Matt, and Allison had their pokemon battle the pokemon that were blocking the way out, and Patrick had his pokemon do battle with the nidoking and nidoqueen. Aaron and Matt had almost broken out of the cave, so they had their pokemon redouble their efforts. Aaron’s articuno was ice beaming all of the pokemon it saw and Matt’s gyarados hydro pumped through the crowd of poison pokemon alongside of articuno. Patrick, battling the nido pair, had developed a strategy. He would have his onix bind the pair and then have his kadabra focus it’s psychic energies on one of them. Using this strategy, he soon had both of the nido’s overwhelmed by about the same time the rest of the team had broken out of the cave. He hurried out as quick as he could and then ran with the rest of the team. They ran a long time until they came to an abandoned old mansion. They went inside and decided that this is where they would stay for awhile. The found a working fridge, microwave, and oven in the kitchen and also lots of different types of food. In the living room they found a video phone, a big screen T.V., and shelves upon shelves of pokemon books. Patrick stayed in the kitchen fixing dinner while the rest of the team went upstairs. Aaron and Matt found many rooms that were furnished but identical to each other and Allison found a battling ring in a giant room at the end of the hall. Besides the battling ring, there were training devices for the pokemon. There were punching bags for fighting pokemon and cards with shapes on them to test the abilities of psychic pokemon. There were also many other devices that were there to train their pokemon on. After they looked around for a bit Patrick called them down for food. It was a type of soup that was very good. After they were full they explored the downstairs a bit more. Aaron found a door that led to a basement. After they took the steps down, they saw a device that was used for healing pokemon. They also saw a trading device and a computer that could transport items to the mansion. After that they came to three more battling rings. To their surprise, they saw a rack that had 15 pokeballs on it. They let all the pokemon out and discovered that there was a tauros, five nidorans(m), a growlithe, a squirtle, a pikachu, and six ponytas. They split the pokemon between them and this is what they got; Aaron: growlithe, nidoran(m), and ponyta. Matt: tauros, nidoran(m), and ponyta. Allison: pikachu, nidoran(m), and ponyta. Patrick: squirtle, nidoran(m), and ponyta. They let the remaining ponytas run free and protect the place from other pokemon when Dragon’s Fury was gone. After this, they went on upstairs to get some sleep.
After a few hours had gone by, Aaron woke up. The rest of the team was still asleep, so he decided this would be the perfect opportunity to go see if he could capture the zapdos he had seen earlier. When he went outside he looked around for the mountain. He started up in that direction, but before long, landed in the middle of a haven full of electric pokemon. He let out his growlithe and had it use fire-spin, and before long they were all knocked out. He then continued but not before turning his eevee into jolteon. The reason he chose jolteon was zapdos was part flying type so electricity might be very effective against it. Anyhow, as he continued on, he came across more and more electric type. Aaron decided to let his nidoran(m) get part of the action and not after long it evolved into nidorino. As he continued up the mountain, his growlithe evolved into arcanine, and his jolteon learned pin missile and thunderbolt. Aaron was almost to the top of the mountain when his nidorino also evolved into nidoking. Aaron knew that he would not have a problem catching zapdos now.
Just then the rest of Dragon’s Fury woke up. They immediately noticed that Aaron was missing so they went out searching. Aaron’s footprints weren’t hard to find but eventually they came to some hard ground. The looked around until the saw the evidence that growlithe had left behind: a huge area of burnt ground where it had used fire spin. The walked on until they came to snow and then they followed the tracks up.
At about that time Aaron had found a cave. It was full of ice but as Aaron looked at the ice he noticed something. He came up close to it and gasped in amazement; the thing in the ice he had noticed were lines of electricity; but they were moving! Aaron followed them back to there point of origin and found a funny looking stone. The stone was being powered by a lightening beam shining directly on the stone. Aaron wondered what it was all for when he found out. He heard ice cracking and when he turned around he saw all those lines of electricity coming straight at him! Then he blacked out.
ZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPDDDDOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! The rest of Dragon’s Fury looked up in time to see the legendary zapdos flying away; carrying Aaron’s limp form in its claws.
