Dragons Fury: Part I

It was Aaron’s first day as a pokemon trainer and he had decided to make the best of it. With some pokemon he borrowed from his friend Matt, Aaron would make his first pokemon catch. It was early in the morning and Aaron was hoping to find a sleepy pokemon of some kind. Aaron lived in the small town of Beru, a great spot for beginning pokemon trainers because of its many ideal environments. The town of Beru was nestled right in between an extinct volcano and a large lake. There was also a forest and some caves twisting through the volcano. Because of all these different types of environments, different types of pokemon were numerous.
Aaron decided to start his pokemon hunt in the forest, when he came across a caterpie. Since caterpie was already a weak type of pokemon Aaron simply threw a pokeball at it. After a few seconds of wobbling, caterpie was his. He let his new caterpie out of the pokeball and quickly became friends with it. He had his caterpie battle kakuna’s and metapod’s until it evolved. When it evolved into metapod, Aaron brought Matt’s bulbasaur out. He told bulbasaur to grab metapod and use it as a mace. He told metapod to harden. After about an hour of whacking everything in sight, metapod evolved into butterfree. Aaron then brought back butterfree and bulbasaur and headed back to town. When Aaron saw Matt, he returned his pokemon back to him. Matt then said to Aaron, “Hey Aaron, lets see what you caught!” Aaron told him he caught a caterpie but now it was a butterfree. “That’s great Aaron. I’ll be down at the gym battling people!” Aaron said that he would go down to the lake.
Aaron got to the lake and started battling his butterfree against some poliwags. His butterfree soon won and it learned stun spore. He also got into a battle with two poliwhirls. After butterfree beat them it learned poison powder. Then Aaron saw a girl his age with a beedrill. The beedrill had just finished off a few goldeens. Aaron thought that she would be a great challenge and asked her if she wanted to battle. She said yes and a fierce battle then ensued. Beedrill got in the first attack and used poison sting. Luckily for Aaron it missed. Butterfree then flew over beedrill and used stun spore, slowing beedrill down. Then butterfree used string shot, covering all of beedrills stingers. Then butterfree gave beedrill a vicious tackle, knocking it unconscious. “YES!!” shouted Aaron, “I won!” The girl just grumbled and said, “Next time we meet I’ll kick your butt.” and then she walked away. Aaron’s butterfree learned sleep powder after the battle with beedrill.
Aaron and his butterfree then battled some more with other pokemon and Aaron’s butterfree learned confusion. Aaron also caught a tentacool while he was at the lake. Aaron started to get tired and went back to town and ran into Matt. Matt asked Aaron what he had been doing for such a long time. Aaron told Matt he had beaten this girl that had a beedrill and that he also caught a tentacool. Aaron also said that he was going to go catch another pokemon later that day. Aaron rested his pokemon at the town pokecenter and he went to the gym to watch other people battle. This wasn’t a normal gym but just a place where pokemon trainers hung out. When it was early evening Aaron went back to get his pokemon and then went to the gym to get Matt, but while he was at the gym he saw the girl he had beaten before. He went up to her and challenged her, she accepted and soon their pokemon were at each other’s throats. Just as before it was butterfree verses beedrill and once again beedrill got in the first attack. This time beedrill used twineedle and damaged butterfree, but butterfree flew over beedrill and used sleep powder. Beedrill instantly fell asleep and butterfree won again. The girl then sent out another pokeball. Inside was a mankey. Everybody at the gym gasped, mankeys were extremely rare and it was unheard of to ever catch one. Matt leaned over to Aaron and said, “I’d be careful if I were you Aaron. Mankeys are extremely powerful and they are excellent fighters.” “OK” was all that Aaron said back. Butterfree used tackle and damaged the mankey but as butterfree was flying back up mankey jumped and grabbed butterfree. It brought butterfree to the ground and started to punch it. “Butterfree, return.” Aaron said, “Tentacool, go.” As soon as tentacool got out of the pokeball it grabbed each of mankeys hands and feet with its tentacles. Tentacool then sprayed acid into mankeys face and then water gunned it. Mankey still wasn’t knocked out so tentacool used poison sting then constrict. That was enough to knock out mankey. “Great fight tentacool!” said Aaron. But then tentacool started to glow. “Huh? What’s happening?” asked Aaron. “Your tentacool is evolving.” said Matt. Finally tentacool evolved into tentacreul. “Awesome!” was all Aaron said. Aaron brought tentacruel back into the pokeball and said goodnight to Matt.
The next morning Aaron went to the caves in the volcano. He caught a graveler on the way in and went to the back of the caves where the fire type pokemon were he battled his graveler against all the pokemon he could find until his graveler evolved into golem. Aaron and golem needed a break so he found a spot where there weren’t many pokemon around. He gave his graveler a super potion and his golem got better. All of a sudden Aaron heard a loud stomping sound he looked around a saw that a charizard was coming straight towards him. He told his golem to dig under ground and come up underneath charizard. While golem was underground Aaron sent out his tentacruel. He told tentacruel to water gun charizard. Tentacruel did that and then golem came underneath charizard. Aaron then threw a pokeball at charizard and after a few tense moments of wiggling, charizard was his. Aaron decided that this would be a good time to leave so he left for the pokemon center. When Aaron got to the pokemon center and got his pokemon healed he showed Matt his new charizard. Matt thought that that was great and said that he knew someone who might want his butterfree. Aaron asked who it was and Matt told him the address to go to. Aaron went there and the man who lived there said he would give him a very special scyther for his butterfree. Aaron said OK and after the trade Aaron asked the man what was so special about this scyther. The man said that this scyther could learn psychic attacks so that gave him an edge on whoever the scyther was battling. Aaron said thank-you and left.
The next day Aaron decided he wanted to be a gym trainer so he sent a letter to the Elite Four. The Elite Four returned his letter back to him but included with it their answer: Yes you may be a gym trainer. The diploma that says you are a registered gym trainer will come tomorrow in the mail. Aaron let out a loud YYYEEEESSSS!!! and went to tell Matt the good news. Matt told Aaron where he could find some more pokemon to complete his collection. Matt told Aaron that you are allowed to only carry six pokemon with you and that right now you only have four: Scyther, Tentacruel, Golem, and Charizard. Matt told him he knew where he might be able to catch some more powerful pokemon. Matt pointed Aaron in the direction of where there was a large hole in the ground. Aaron went down into the hole and soon had a hitmonlee in his collection. Aaron kept going and he came across a haunter. He started the battle by letting out scyther. Scyther used confusion, then followed up with hypnosis, putting haunter to sleep. Aaron then threw the pokeball at haunter and captured it. Now that Aaron had six pokemon he went back to Beru.
Since it was getting dark Aaron went to his house and went to sleep. The next morning he checked his mail and inside was his diploma. There was also a pokedex and fifty badges to give to winning pokemon trainers. In the very back of the package there was a master ball, ten ultra balls, and fifteen great balls. Aaron went to the gym and told everybody that it was now an official pokemon league gym and that he was the gym leader.
It has been many years and only a few people have won against Aaron. His haunter evolved into gengar and it became one of the few in the world. Aaron is still the gym leader and he has trained his pokemon into fighting machines. He is almost unbeatable and is planning to retire soon. When he does retire he will leave Beru and challenge every trainer he comes across, but until then, he is still the gym leader of Beru.
Dragons Fury: Part II

Today is the day that Aaron decided to stop being a pokemon gym leader. He left with Matt and headed towards the city of sorrow. Since Aaron was no longer under the pokemon leagues rules, he was allowed to carry more then six pokemon with him. He left his charizard, tentacruel, and gengar in Beru, however, in case the town was ever attacked. Aaron and Matt were walking down the road and kicking every one’s butt who got in their way. Aaron caught another butterfree and then traded it for a venomoth a little while down the road. Aaron and Matt soon ran into a girl their age that asked if she could travel with them. They said yes and asked what her name was. She said her name was Allison and they soon became friends rather quickly.
As they were traveling even further down the road and even closer to the city of sorrow they ran into a boy who was also their age. He challenged Aaron to a battle and Aaron accepted. Aaron sent out his new venomoth and the boy sent out a kadabra. Since Aaron’s venomoth was part psychic, kadabra’s psychic powers couldn’t hurt it that much. Aaron’s venomoth soon put kadabra to sleep by using sleep powder, and the boy brought kadabra back. Then the boy sent out a kangaskhan. Aaron brought back venomoth and sent out hitmonlee, quickly sending the kangaskhan to dreamland. The boy had one last pokemon to send out, he said quietly to his pokeball, “Machamp, I’m counting on you.” and then sent machamp out into the ring. Aaron shouted, “Hitmonlee. Return! Scyther, GO!” The boy said, “All right, this should be easy! Machamp, crush that scyther!” What the boy didn’t know was that this was the scyther that could learn psychic attacks. Scyther first powered up by using agility and swords dance, then used psybeam on the slow machamp. Machamp was damaged, but wasn’t out of it yet. Machamp tried to put scyther into a submission hold but scyther was to fast and slashed the machamp. The machamp finally landed a mega punch into scyther’s gut, putting scyther out for the count. Aaron returned scyther to his pokeball then sent out venomoth again. Venomoth used confusion and machamp started to get confused. First, machamp punched himself, letting venomoth use its psybeam attack. Waves of psychic energy soon filled the entire arena and machamp was knocked unconscious. The boy said to Aaron, “You are very talented. I was sent to find someone with talent as yours. My name is Patrick and I am from Boulder City. My city is under attack by a gang of thieves. They use their pokemon to inflict pain and suffering on other people and their pokemon. He was interrupted by Allison, because at that moment she gasped. “Did you say Boulder City? That’s were I am from. Oh please Aaron we must go!” “All right” responded Aaron, “But I left my more powerful pokemon in town. Do you know of a spot were we can catch some more?” “Yes, I do.” said Patrick, “There is a clearing not far from here were there is a cave. Inside of the cave there are many powerful pokemon and a lake. I have also heard tales that in this particular spot an articuno was spotted.” “All right, lets heal our pokemon and go.” said Aaron, and they were on their way.
When they got to the cave, they saw many eevee’s walking around. Aaron, Matt, and Allison each caught one before the rest ran away. As the continued going down the cave, Patrick came across a pinsir. He had his kangaskhan dizzy punch the pinsir, then he threw a pokeball at it. Allison found a magmar, and after battling it with her starmie, soon captured it. Matt soon found the lake, and inside of it he saw a gyarados. He lured the gyarados over and battled it with his weepinbell and parasect. After a while he had weakened it and threw a pokeball at it. The pokeball wobbled for like an eternity to Matt but then it stopped and he had the ferocious gyarados in his possession. Aaron then continued back and found a hidden niche in the wall. He continued through the niche and found another lake, a little smaller then the first. He saw some dratini in the lake and one dragonair. He battled the dragonair with his scyther and scyther soon overwhelmed the dragonair with its psychic abilities. He then threw a pokeball at the dragonair and captured it. Aaron kept walking and found a kabuto. He battled it with his venomoth and soon kabuto was sound asleep. Aaron threw another pokeball and had kabuto as his very own. Aaron went back and got the others and told them about what he had found. Allison caught a dratini and Matt caught an omanyte. Patrick found an electabuzz and after battling it with his kadabra, threw a pokeball and caught it. As Aaron continued back he found another hidden pathway and after going down it found a huge cavern. In the middle of the cavern he saw the legendary bird pokemon, articuno. The articuno was sleeping so Aaron decided to let venomoth fly over it and use stun spore. The stun spore instantly woke up articuno but it was to late, it was already paralyzed. Venomoth then used psybeam and colorful beams of deadly psychic energy radiated towards articuno. Now that articuno was very weak, Aaron had venomoth use sleep powder. Articuno was put back to sleep. Aaron didn’t want to take any chances of not capturing articuno so he used a greatball instead of a normal pokeball. The ball wiggled, and wiggled, and wiggled, until finally it stopped. Aaron was so excited he couldn’t say anything so he just brought the ball back to his friends, and said, “You’ll never believe what I just caught!” Aaron then let articuno out of its pokeball and showed it to his friends. “This is great!” is what Allison replied, “With your articuno and my pidgeotto, it will take no time at all to get to Boulder city!” Then they went back to the pokemon center and healed up their pokemon. They spent the rest of the night there and in the morning, before they left, Aaron said that he wanted to see where articuno was sitting to see if their was anything special about it. They went back to the cave and went to the cavern where articuno was sitting when Aaron captured it. As Aaron was going through the nest he found some element stones. “Hey guys, look what I found!” he shouted to his friends, “I found some evolution stones.” They each took as many as they could hold and then left.
When they got out of the cave they got on articuno and pidgeotto and flew to Boulder City. They got their just as the thieves were starting an attack. They yelled to Aaron and his friend, “Hey, you kids! Give us all your pokemon or we’ll take ‘em.” In response he got some pokeballs in the face that contained: Hitmonlee, dragonair, and scyther from Aaron. Gyarados, parasect, and venusaur from Matt. Magmar, beedrill, and starmie from Allison. And kangaskhan, machamp, and pinsir from Matt. “Oooohhhh that makes me mad!” he said, “All right, guys, lets get ‘em.” Luckily for Aaron and his friends rock and ground type pokemon were the only kinds of pokemon in this area. The thieves were soon wiped out thanks to Matt because his gyarados used hydro pump knocking out most of the pokemon and then his venusaur would use solar beam. After that his parasect would release sleep pores into the air causing the rest of the thieves pokemon to fall asleep and also causing the thieves themselves to also fall asleep. Because of this awesome victory the townspeople gave Aaron and his friends the nickname Dragon’s Fury, because of the way they so rocked the thieves world with Matt’s gyarados. Dragon’s Fury stayed in the town for a while longer, protecting the people from any dangers that threatened them, and while they were there caught a few of the rock pokemon. Patrick caught an onix, which he trained and trained until it learned all of the moves. Allison caught a cubone, which she trained until it evolved into marowak. Matt caught a rhyhorn, which was at a very high experience level so it quickly evolved into rhydon. He trained his rhydon until it learned horn drill. Aaron decided not to catch any rock pokemon, because he had a golem, and golem was very hard to beat so it was already a formidable opponent. They stayed and trained and decided that they would never leave.
