| Good Moring, Class. I will be your new Charms teacher. My name is Proffeser Cranecke, and that is how you will address me. Since we are just starting out, I will explain to you the proper use of your magic wands. When you are casting a charm or spell, remember to recite the spell loudly and clearly, point your wand at your selected target, and, when you are just practicing, ALWAYS know the coutercurse. Mr. Malfoy, please stop snickering. Thank You. So for today, we will be learning a Spark Charm. Sparks are usually used as either a distress signal, or to momentarily blind your opponent. The spell varies because it depends what color you want your sparks to be. For Spartial Greenium would give me green sparks, whereas Spartial Redium would give me red sparks. Red and Green are the two most important spark colors. Mr. Malfoy, since you seem to prefer imitating me at the back of the class, would you care to come to the front of the class and demonstrate? That's right, come up here. Let's see, give me some . . . . purple sparks. Class, notice how Mr. Malfoy only makes smoke appear. That's because he wasn't paying attention! Enough Mr. Malfoy. We don't want to start the building on fire. Please take your seat. Thank you. Mrs. Granger, would YOU care to demonstrate and show us the PROPER way to make sparks? Ah, what a good student you are, Hermione. Class, notice how the sparks simply flow from her wand. Remember! It's all in the wrist! Spin the wand while you name the spell. It's all in the wrist.
