| 12TH - 16TH DAYS -- WORK ON MOUNTAIN SPRING ------------------------------------------- This is the same things as when you worked on the bridge during the fall season. The carpenters are working on the mountain spring and they need your help. You can work for 5 days getting paid 1,000 GOLD a day for a total of 5,000 GOLD! If you need some extra gold I strongly suggest you work on the spring because 5,000 GOLD is a lot of dough! The Winter season is actually a great opportunity to make some extra cash. 18TH DAY -- DEADLINE FOR ENTERING DOG RACE ------------------------------------------ Well I think the name says enough. Today is the deadline if you plan on entering the dog race... 19TH DAY -- DOG RACE -------------------- It's time for the races! Today you can race your little dog and see if he wins, bet the same medals as in the horse races to get some extra cash. You don't have to control your dog either, just watch him as he flies past the other dogs (hopefully :Þ). *NEW ADDITION* If you feed your dog before the race, his chances of winning will be better (thank to NeoHippie2000 for this tip). 24TH DAY -- STARRY NIGHT ------------------------ This is the day when you will be spending time with one of your girlfriends. Here is where each is located: Maria - Church Elli - Church Ann - Church Popuri - Woods Karen - Beach You should spend the day with one of them (whichever one you have been trying to woo :) 27TH DAY -- SPIRIT FESTIVAL --------------------------- This festival takes place during the night and it's purpose is to scare off evil spirits. If you bought an Ocarina from the Ceramic's shop next to Rick's Tool Shop, earlier in the game, join in with the music, otherwise you can just watch. 30TH DAY -- NEW YEAR -------------------- Well, it really should be the first day of spring, but oh well. Congratulations you have now completed one year of hard work, now it is time to celebrate the new year! You will continue the game on for another year, I probably won't be adding a Walkthrough for it. But you are not limited to 2 years, you can play as many as you want. Remember you can still get married to the lady of your choice and even have kids, good luck in the new year! ===================== 9.) Mushroom Salsa - Give a mushroom to the sprite at the entrance in mountain. Turnip and Cabbage Preserves - Give the Chinese guy on Moon Mountain some cabbage. Strawberry Jam - Give Popuri strawberries. Mashed Potatoes - Give potato to Anne. Cream of Turnip Stew - Give a turnip to Maria's mom. Tomato Cream Soup - Give tomato to the shipper in the bar. Simple Tomato Soup - Give tomato to the priest. Corn Pasta - Give corn to Popuri's dad. Fried Potatoes & Bacon - Give the mayor a potato. Twice-cooked tomatoes and greens - Give a tomato to Popuri's mom. Garlic potato beef - Give a potato to the mailman. Eggplant with Miso Paste - Give an eggplant to the midwife. Grilled trout with cheese - Give a big fish to the carpenter standing by the hot springs on Moon Mountain. Char stuffed with mushrooms - Give a mushroom to one of the worker carpenters. Walnut Cake - Give a walnut to the old lady in the rocking chair. Pickled Turnip and Cabbage- Give a turnip to the old man on Mt. Moon. Potato Pancakes - Give a potato to the little girl named May. Hunter's Tea - Give an egg to cliff. ============= 11.) Secrets ============= (Thanks to Arthur (m.a.david@worldnet.att.net) for this secret): After you get the wine from the bar owner (to get the wine from the bartender give him gifts and talk to him. Eventually he will give it to you. It is a bottle of wine made by Karen's grandmother.) when you talk to the harvest sprites they mention the spirit tree in the vineyard and how Kaifu Fairies came to the vineyard before the tree fell asleep. To wake it up toss a vegetable into the pond left of the carpenter's cabin by standing on the bridge and pressing A. A women(I think she is the Goddess of Harvest) will come and grant you one wish(You can do this again and again, but after you get the wine and talk to the sprites is special and it must be done first). Tell her to wake up the tree and you will go wake it up. I'm not sure what it does since I did this during the winter when the vineyard is closed. (Thanks to Zodi, Nintense, Iss98z, and Klone for these): Dreams With dreams, they’re flashbacks, so the next day go to those spots and when they ask you if you remember it happening before to you etc.. say yes. Daddy helping a crying girl Karen -- Meet her in the shed next to her house. Your feeling sick by eating mudpies. Elli -- Go to bakery shop area. A feeling of falling, flowers. Popuri -- Go over the bridge you made or up the tree. Tips You can climb the tree near the cave to get up to the top of the mountain before you build the bridge. In winter hit the rock on the other side of the frozen pond for a power nut. Brush your horses and cows every day. When you win the cow festival your L milk goes to Special. Blue feather (after your girls goes red for a while, this is what you use to propose find it at Rick’s shop). Need to know what an item is in inventory? use the Z button. 3rd summer is evaluation and your dad comes etc. You get to choose to play on or not. The more you drink during the year the longer you last drinking at the new years festival ( Karen went from green to yellow because I out drank her :p). Training your dog whistle for it jump on your horse and it chases you, repeat when it stops or you get bored :) (he seems to be able to run further every day). When evaluation is finished credits roll then you get asked whether you want to continue or not. (Still Thanks to Nintense, Zodi, Iss98z, and Klone for these) Power nuts 1.) In the winter the pond next to the fisherman's tent is frozen. Go to the big rock and hit it ONLY with the Golden Hammer. 2.) Treat the Harvest Sprites Nicely, all three of them nicely. 3.) Buy one at the Flower Festival. 4.) Win the Egg Festival. ====================== 13.) House Extensions ====================== (Thanks to Arthur (m.a.david@worldnet.att.net) for this section) Just what the name says. It makes your house bigger and look nicer. Make the girl more likely to marry you. Green House-30,000G,580 Wood Has room for over 24 9X9 patches(7 are against the wall) for any type of crop except grass. Time does not pass in here and the rain does not get inside. Can still be affected by an earthquake. Has a shipping bin and pond. Only way to grow strawberries. Kitchen-5,000G, 450 Wood Needed to marry Elli. Has a fridge to store food in except milk and eggs. Connects to the bathroom. Bathroom-3,000G, 300 Wood Has a tub to bath in to restore energy. Without the kitchen there is a side door in the main room that goes outside then to the bathroom. Stairs-1,500G, 150 Wood Connects to the roof I think. Log-Terrace-7,000G, 350 Wood No Description yet available. Baby-Bed-1,000G, 100 wood Needed to have a baby. =========== 14.)
