| "DeVone Mfg. Co., Inc.(1975) is a privately held corporation that has endured many years of "development". Also, visit www.DeVonMfgCo.com. The non-profit, associated corporation is, "Services in the United States for the Underprivileged(SUSU) Fund, Inc.". "SUSU Tele-Broadcasting", which has been recognized by Broadcast Music, Inc.(BMI)since 1987, remains in development. DeVone is also a member of this professional organization, composed of National and International recording artists. He was a candidate for the prestigous "Rolex Award For Enterprise", as he was advertising the "Coconut Jewelry Shell"(as a means to reduce Carbon-Dioxide(CO2) build-up, since coconut shells are incinerated throughout the world. The principal of the Company is "James M. DeVone, Sr.", recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine(California), in 1982. He is also an author ("Authors", www.amazon.com and "Books In Print", found in libraries throughout the world). His book, "Clyde McPhatter: Durham, NC-Michael Jackson's USA Roots" has been with the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC (NC Collection) and Duke University Libraries, since the 1980'DeVone is a "Legendary" figure in International Trade Development. "DeVone Mfg. Co., Inc." was listed in the 1978 and 1979 editions of the United States Department of Commerce, International Trade Division, Franchise Opportunities Handbook, along with such entities as "McDonald's" "Burger King", "Radio Shack", "Hardees", etc. He was a pioneer in the establishment of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Task Force, as a registered Democrat, having received a "Presidential Task Force Medal", in 1985 and, most recently, in 2000. He is also the inventor of the "Bike Top", "JET Magazine", Jan. 15, 1976, which produced International recognition. At Broadcast Music, Inc., he is recognized as the ORIGINAL PRODUCER OF "CD(aka: DVD) Clocks" and "Record Clocks"(reverse and forward movement). He is also recognized as a song writer and the owner of "SUSU MUSICAL TELE-BROADCASTING", broadcasting over the telephone lines, before "Web Radio"), and as the inventor of "Less Leader" audio cassette tapes"(Copyright). DeVone is the inventor of the "Borrow-Some-Air" vehicle pump, that "Transfers" air "FROM" automobile and truck tires "TO" automobile and truck tires, etc. He is the "recognized" inventor of this air pump, which was located at such retail outlets as: Duke University Student Stores, Durham Exon, Greensboro, NC, in the 1980's. Also, products associated with this air pump were advertised in the "Army, Navy, Aair Force Times Newspaper", during the week of "Operation Dessert Storm". The "Susu Belt", a muscle toning belt that he invented in the 80's is worn by a former United States Olympic Committee President and former Chancellor of North Carolina Central University(NCCU), Dr. Leroy Walker and, "James 'Mellow Yellow' Perry, ESPN televised Sumo Wrestler and former Free Power Lifter", as well as, "Mike Hall", "5 Times World Champion Drug Free Power Lifter". In 1981, DeVone invented the "Basketball Deflector", a device that returns completed baskets to the basketball shooter, as "Michael Jordan" was at the University of North Carolina, where DeVone attended Graduate School, before UNC beat Georgetown, to win a National Championship, later ("The Basketball Deflector" was on display at the Duke University Student Store in the Mid-1980's). A discovery, on March 30, 2003, of a letter from the United States Postal Service, dated Feb. 12, 1981, provides evidence that he invented the "Peel-Away" postal stamp, which was not used until a time period after that date.
