| Here are a couple of things that would be useful if you had known them sooner... (many were taken from Chicken Soup for The Teenage Soul 2) - if you drop a cell phone into a tub of water, the phone WILL die - Hair is extremely flammable - Not studing for an SAT is not such a bright idea - If your girlfriend tells you to slow down (driving) of she'll get out and walk, SLOW DOWN!!! - if your calculus teacher threatens to give you a zero for talking after a test, he means it. Really. - milk crates make boring pets. - if it hurts, DON'T DO IT AGAIN! - ten years from now, most of what you freak out about won't make any difference - when in doubt, duck. When certain, don't bother, cause you're already screwed - when driving a car through a gate, always, ALWAYS make sure the gate is open. The consequences may be fatal to you and you car - Never pierce your belly button in the dark - Sometimes smart people can do very, very stupid things. - If you start to like a girl, her roommate will imeadately start liking you. - Friends aren't around forever, os treasure them while they are. - If your intuition is telling you to do something, then do it. YOUR INTUITION IS NOT STUPID! - If he doesn't respect you, then he's not worth any of your time. - If at first you don't succeed, try again. Then give up. No point obsessing over it. - Never insult your girl in any way. - Flirting is good. Over-flirting is fatal. You'll make an EXTREME fool of yourself. - Using your mother's 100 year old antique vase as a football may not be te best idea in the world. - Never let the "popular" crowd make you feel "lower" than them, because in the long run, no-one cares what they think. - "Ignoring your conscience allows you to justify everything" -said by Geri Halliwell - Changing may not always seem like a good thing, but it's what makes you grow stronger. - Sucking up to people will not always get you where you want to be. It can actually leave you quite crushed. - Learn a foreign language. Girls really go for it! - Don't think you have to be dumb to be "cool". Grades are what gets you places in life. Being dumb will leave you flipping burgers. Being smart will leave you successful in a growing business. - Wear sunscreen. - Always stick up for yourself. Never let anyone put you down. |
