Saga 1- Freiza Saga

A spaceship crashes into the ground. A figure walks out. It is Raditz, a Sayin. After an encounter with a farmer he sets out to find Goku. He follows a strong power level, only to find that it is Piccolo. He sets off again and finds Goku at a reunion party. He explains that he is Goku's brother and wants to know why Earth is not destroyed yet. Goku had been sent to Earth as a baby to destroy it. He was found by Gohan and when he hit his head, he forgot his mission. Raditz orders Goku to kill 100 people or he will kill his son. With that, he takes off with Gohan. Goku is shocked. He looks up to see Piccolo. Goku tells Piccolo that he does not have time to fight, but suprisingly, Piccolo wants to join him in a fight with Raditz. Goku agrees and they fly torward Raditz's spaceship. When they get there, they find Raditz but not Gohan. Goku demands to know where Gohan is, but Raditz won't tell him. So Goku and Piccolo begin to fight Raditz. From the beginning it looks like they are going to lose. Raditz is a very powerful warrior and shoots a cannon that rips off Piccolo's arm! Just when it looks very bad Goku grabs Raditz's tail and tells Piccolo to fire his Triple Beam Cannon. Piccolo begins to power-up for that attack but Raditz starts pleading for his life and says that he'll leave the planet and never come back. Goku belives him and lets him go, but at that he attacks. Goku is beat up bad and when Gohan sees him from Raditz's spaceship his anger rises and he lets himself free. He hits Raditz in the chest very hard and suddenly stops and passes out. Raditz decides he should not let such a powerful kid live and approaches him, but Goku grabs him so Raditz cannot move and tells Piccolo to fire his Special Beam Cannon. As Piccolo powers-up Raditz pleas for forgiveness, but Goku doesn't buy it and when Piccolo fires, they both die. As Piccolo talks to the dying Raditz, Raditz asks why Goku would sacrifice his life. Piccolo tells him about the Earth's dragon balls and how Goku willc probobly be back in a week. Raditz explains that his scouter is a radio and two Sayins more powerful than him will come for the dragon balls. They will arrive in about a year. Master Roshi, Bulma, Krillin, and Oolong arrive at the battlefield. They talk to Goku for a minute and he dissappears. Piccolo says it's probobly Kami's work. He regenerates his arm and says that he's taking Gohan to train with him. Meanwhile Goku is with Kami before the Great King Yemma, who decides if the spirit goes to heaven or hell. Kami wants Goku to recive traning from King Kai. Ultimately, he departs to Snake Way. On Earth, Piccolo tells Gohan he is going to teach him to use his hidden power. When asked what power Piccolo throws him into a mountain and Gohan blasts it. At the Kame House Master Roshi, Krillin, Bulma, and Oolong talk about how they will tell Chichi the news. They tell Krillin to do it because he is a family friend. Krillin goes to Goku's home, but doesn't have the guts to tell Chichi. Meanwhile Gohan continues his training with Piccolo. Piccolo leaves him all alone in an uninhabited area. While running from a dinosaur, Gohan climbs up a tall mesa and gets stuck up there. While hiding, Piccolo throws him some apples. Chichi arrives at the Kame house demanding to know where Goku and Gohan are. Master Roshi tells her. Sitting on the mesa, Gohan looks at the moon. This is the first time he has seen a full moon. Suddenly, he starts to transform into an ape creature. Piccolo tries to battle him, but it is too strong. Piccolo finally destroys the moon and Gohan returns to normal. Piccolo rips out the sleeping Gohan's tail. At the Kame House, Yajirobe comes to tell Krillin he is to report to Kami's Palace immideatly for special training. While sleeping, Gohan is awakened by a voice that identifies him as Kakurot (Goku's Sayin name) he looks up and sees that the moon came back. He goes crazy and tries to escape. Piccolo uses Split Form but is still not able to keep Gohan from transforming again. Piccolo finally realizes that the moon is back up in the sky. He tries to destroy it again, but the beam goes right through it. Piccolo sees Gohan's shadow on the moon and realizes that it is a projection from Goku's crashed spacepod. He immediatley destroys it and Gohan returns to normal. Meanwhile Goku finally arrives at King Kai's planet. It has very heavy gravity and Goku finds it hard to walk. King Kai gives Goku his first task: Satch Bubbles, an extremely fast monkey. At first, Goku can't even keep up with Bubbles, but soon is able to catch him. King Kai then tells Goku that his next assignment is to use a heavy hammer to bonk Gregory on the head. Gregory is a small flying grasshopper with great speed. When Goku is finally able to do it, King Kai begins his training .
