Goku-
Goku is the main character in the entire Dragon Ball series. He was born on Planet Vegeta and despatched to Earth to destroy it shortly before the planet was destroyed by Freiza. He landed and was found by Gohan. When he was little, he bumped his head and forgot his mission. He became goodhearted and lived a peaceful life in the woods. Growing up he trained extensively and became very powerful. Now he is the most powerful Sayin and most likely the most powerful person in the whole galaxy. Goku had his tail surgicaly removed. He was the first of the Z characters to become Super Sayins 1, 3, and 4.

Gohan-
Goku's son is named after the Gohan who found Goku originally. He can become very powerful when angry. Although strong, he has a weak character and is likely to give up in battle. Chichi is very protective of Gohan and makes him study hard which puts behind in traning. Even though Piccolo tore Gohan's tail out it sometimes grows back so he is able to transform into an unintelligent, large ape creature. He was the first to become Super Sayin 2.

Vegeta-
Vegeta was originally supposed to be the prince of Planet Vegeta, but Freiza killed his father ,destroyed the planet, and kiddnapped Vegeta. He commanded Vegeta to do his bidding or he would kill his father. Vegeta was never evil at heart, but Freiza shaped him in a way that could not be undone later. He didn't turn good to help the Z fighters, but to learn Goku's secrets. He has always felt superior to Goku and refused to fuse with Goku even if it meant death.

Krillin-
Krillin is Goku's lifelong best friend and possibly the strongest human. He fell in love with No. 18 and after saving her they got married. He used to be a monk. It was Krillin's death that finally pushed Goku to Super Sayin form for the first time.

Piccolo and Kami-
Piccolo is the son of Piccolo Deimono. As Goku killed Piccolo Deimano he spit out an egg. Piccolo split into two forms: an evil (Piccolo) and a good (Kami). Piccolo was Goku's nemisis through Dragon Ball but had to join Goku in order to defeat Raditz. In order to save the Earth from destruction, he had to train Gohan in the art of fighting. Piccolo became attatched emotionally to his student and gave up his life for him. Kami is the guardian of the Earth and lives in the Floating Palace above the planet. He is creator of the Earth's Dragon Balls.

Trunks-
Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma. As Future Trunks, he came to the present to save Goku from a heart disease and to warn the Z warriors about the onslaught of the androids. As Trunks he is the companion of Goten and a strong fighter.

Goten-
Goten is the second son of Goku and Chichi. He is best friends with Trunks and is very pesky following his adult superiors everywhere. He is very powerful and became Super Sayin at age 8.

Yamcha-
Yamcha was Bulma's boyfriend until Bulma decided they were not meant to be. He is a powerful fighter and is also known as The Desert Bandit.

Chiou-Tzu-
Chiou-Tzu is a prince who gave up royalty and wealth to become a warrior. He is a powerful fighter that resembles the Pillsbury Doughboy.

Tien-
Tien is the lifelong companion of Chiou-Tzu. This three-eyed warrior is very attached to him and would give up his life for Chiou-Tzu.

Bulma-
Bulma is one of the first characters to appear in Dragon Ball and is a snotty genius. She piloted the Namek spacecraft to Namek with Gohan and Krillin. She likes to act cool around the guys but is probable to panic. She married Vegeta and had two children: Trunks and Bra.

Chichi-
Chichi is the wife of Goku. She has been romantically attracted to him scince the beginning of Dragon Ball. She is very protective of her son Gohan but doesn't pay much attention to Goten. Just don't get her angry.

Videl-
Videl is the daughter of Mr. Satan and the wife of Gohan. Although Gohan tried to teach her how to use her powers she was never able to do get the hang of it and was never much help to him on the battlefield except as a cheerleader.

Mr. Satan-
Mr. Satan is a cowardly, weak, pathetic fighter but takes credit for the Z Warriors work. He bribed No. 18 at the Fighting Tournament so he could win. He has a lot of money, but doesn't pay much attention to his daughter, Videl.

No. 18-
No. 18 is an android from Dr. Gero. When fighting Cell, Krillin saved her and they fell in love. Through perfect construction, they had a child Marron. No. 18 is very demanding, but she has saved Mr. Satan from many predicaments... for money.

Ox-King
Ox-King is the large father of Chichi. He is very protective of her, but when she releases her wrath, not even this powerful gentle giant can stop her.

Master Roshi
Master Roshi is a horny fighting master and creator of the Kamehameha. He lives at the Kame House with Tortise and Lunch.

Mr. Popo-
Mr. Popo is the genie advisor/helper of Kami. He does Kami's bidding happily because he is very attached to him.

Lunch-
Lunch lives with Master Roshi. She has two personalities: a deredevil/wild side and a shy/calm side. When she sneezes, she switches to the other one.

Korrin-
Korrin is an intelligent cat who is neighbor to Kami. He grows Senzu Beans which automatically revive your strength.

Yajirobe-
Yajirobe is the cowardly, unwilling servant of Korrin. He has a bad attitude and doesn't like to help anyone but himself... to a bag of chips.

King Kai-
King Kai lives on a small planet in the after-life. He trains warriors there but makes horrible jokes to pass the time.

Oolong-
Oolong is a shapeshifting cowardly pig. He can only stay in another form for a short time because his muscles get tired.

Puar-
Puar is the feline shapeshifting companion of Yamcha. Unlike Oolong, she can stay in form for long amounts of time.

Dr. Breifs-
Dr. Briefs is the father of Bulma and creator of many strange inventions. He always belived that Bulma has a bad attitude but never addmitted it to her becase of fear. He is creator of the Capsule Corporation.

Uub-
Uub is a shy kid who was born after Goku defeated Majin Buu, with the dragonballs he made a wish for Buu to be reincarnated as a human, so Goku could fight him to see who is stronger. When it came time for the tournament, Uub was strong indeed, but not nearly enough to defeat Goku. Goku decided to train Uub in order for them to have a fair match-up.

Pan-
Pan is Gohan and Videl's daughter. She is only four at the end of Dragon Ball Z, but is already a strong fighter and is very attached to her grandfather, Goku.

Bra-
Bra is Trunks' sister and is weak compared to her friend Pan. Her character is rarly seen in Dragon Ball Z as well as Dragon Ball GT.

Mr. Buu-
Mr. Buu is the good Buu and is a good friend of Mr. Satan. He is perhaps the weakest Buu, but is still very powerful and can use his magic powers for almost anything he wants.

Dende-
Dende is a young Namek with special healing powers. After the death of Kami, he became Earth's new guardian. He always had a special bond with Gohan.

Nail-
Nail is a strong Namek, guardian of Guru, and good friend of Dende. When fighting Freiza he was badly injured and fused with Piccolo.

Bubbles-
Bubbles is a fast monkey that lives with King Kai and helps in traning of his students. Although smart for a monkey, he is stupid for a human.

Gregory-
A lightning- fast flying cricket that also lives with King Kai. He is a show- off and likes to brag.
