| The Tampa Bay Storm won their 6th Arena Bowl Championship on Sunday, defeating the Colorado Crush 56-41 in a highly competitive game. The Crush led 24-21 at halftime and 14-7 at the end of the first quarter, but the Storm rallied in the second half, outscoring the Crush 35-17 to win. Crush QB Mark Dutton tried to lead the Crush back late in the fourth quarter, but the rally failed. Dutton threw an interception in the endzone with under two minutes to go, forcing the Colorado defense to stop Tampa Bay from scoring. However, Tampa Bay QB Shane Stafford threw a 36 yard touchdown pass to WR T.T. Toliver to pad the Storm's lead, making it a 15 point advantage and sealing the game with :54 left. |
