| 1/13/01 Well huge news, huge news, Funimation has recently announced whats happening with Dragonball Z The Movie (now confirmed title) It was rumored that at yesterday's FUNimation press confrence all was revieled including FUNi's new anime they will be releasing later this year, but the movie and television DBZ news was the biggest here they are Confirmed Title: Dragonball Z: The Movie ("Cartoon Network presents Dragonball Z: The Movie" for all you technical nuts) Confirmed release date: Thanksgiving 2001, (either Nov. 16, or Nov. 23) Confirmed co distributor: Warner Bros. and FUNimaton (It is not known if AOL will start to make films made by Warner Bros start to go by AOL Time Warner, but most likeley not, it was an idea that AOL Time Warner chairman Steve Case was talking about) show info Negotiations with Freddie Prinze Jr. to voice Gohan this season are underway, Prinze is a DBZ fan, he said, "I've like Dragonball when it first came out when I was about 14, and I would actually consider voicing a charcter for the show, if I'm not busy." like Prinze said, if he's not busy, he's being tossed around between two Batman films, Batman Beyond and Batman Year One which are schedualed for release in 2002, filming on both of those projects are starting at the begging of this year, FUNi better hurry Freddie Prinze Jr. would need next month |
