| Playstation2! The system will be distriputed in JAPAN in March 4,2000 for the price of 39,800 yen(about $375). Seems alot of money? It is but you get your moneys worth, you get one dual 2 controller, a playstation 2 demo disc,and an AV power cord. It can play dvd movies right out of the box! It can only hold 2 controllers not 4 like we were looking forward to. On the back it has a TYPE 3 PCMCIA card slot for things like modems and ethernet cards.Also in the back is an optical out for dolby digital AC-3 and DTS sound. Games will be delivered on both CD-ROM and DVD-ROM. There are currently 84 titles in develpment,with another 128 titles tentately being thought to be rekesed in the first year of it,s availability. The U.S. and EUROPEAN launch dates are the fall of 2000. |
