Piccolo is the Namek warrior who fights for good along with Goku, Gohan, and the other Z warriors. He has many unique moves and abilities such as regenerating his body parts and the Masenkko beam (Special Beam Cannon.) He has trained and taught his best friend, Gohan almost all that he knows except for what he has learned from his father. Piccolo was originaly Piccolo Daimoa but changed into two beings. The evil part of Piccolo Daimoa, Piccolo, and the good part Kami. Piccolo Daimoa wanted to be the guardian of Earth, but had to release all of his evil energy. So Piccolo Daimoa did and then split into two people, but Piccolo, the evil side went on a rampage. He tried to take over the Earth but Goku killed him, and just before Piccolo Daimoa blew up, he spat out an egg which contained the Piccolo we know of now. But Piccolo met up with Gohan and friends and his heart was almost 100% pure, but he still was mean and got furious sometimes. Then during the Cell Saga, Piccolo fused back with Kame and became Piccolo Daimoa all over again. Now he was a "Super Namek" and was extremely strong. Piccolo is very strong and very smart. He even has a coll bad @$$ attitude like Vegeta, so that is why so many people like him.
