| What is fusion? Fusion is when the characters decide that as individuals, they are not strong enough to fight the bad character, so they fuse into one person. How it works: Potarra Earrings: Using the Potarra Earrings, anyone can fuse into one person. All you have to do is put one on one ear and have the other person put it on the other ear. The problem with this is that using these earrings will fuse you together forever. But when Goku and Vegeta fuse into Vegetto in the Buu saga using these earrings, they get absorbed by Buu on purpose in order to save everyone else, and they do but when they were absorbed, the process of being absorbed somehow messed up the fusion and they came out as individuals instead of Vegetto. Namekian way: First the Namek who is not using the other's body as the main one (i.e. Nail uses Piccolo's body) has to power up and use this technique to get his body ready to fuse. After they are ready, the Namek who's body they are going to use touches him on the chest somewhere and the first Namek (i.e. Nail) transfers his body into the second's (i.e. Piccolo) combining both powers with a little boost on the side and therefore making them very strong. The Saiya-Jin way: In order to fuse two Saiya-Jins together, both of them have to do the fusion dance. What they do is say, Fuuuuuusion! And they both lower their power levels to the same level and go to one side with one of their arms pointing to the side outwards and the other tucked in and then they lean over towards each other touching their index finger together and say, Haa! And then a big bubble goes over them and they fuse into one person combining both powers with an extra boost. The Saiya-Jin is completely able to go into SSJ stages like all other Saiya-Jins and he wears a fusion suit which is a black vest with a puffy colored lining and poofy white pants. If this process goes wrong, the person ends up being deformed. Something went wrong and resulted in a fat Gotenks. It can also result in a extremely skinny Gotenks as well. Fusion of the two characters can only work for a half-an hour, after that, it wears off and they turn into individuals again and it takes an hour to perform the fusion all over again. Fused Characters: Gotenks: Gotenks is Goten and Trunks fused. He thinks he's really cool and makes up attacks. He has black and purple hair! LoL!He is able to go SSJ and SSJ3. Vegetto: He is Goku and Vegeta combined. He is when Goku and Vegeta use the Potarra Earrings to fuse. He has black hair with two strands on the side, except for when he goes SSJ of course. The stages that he can reach are SSJ and SSJ2. Piccolo: Piccolo has his own name, but in the Frieza and Android saga, he fuses with people using his own body. When going to fight Frieza, he meets Nail and fuses with him, and when on Kame's lookout, Kame suggests fusing into one to defeat Cell and the Androids. After fusion, it is permanent and you can never un-fuse. Gogeta: Gogeta is Goku and Vegeta combined, but he is the person that they always fuse to not using the potarra earrings. Gogeta is first introduced in movie 12 when they fuse to kill Janemba. Gogeta can reach SSJ, SSJ2, and Super 4. When fused in Super 4, he gets this brown fur instead of red and has red hair. It looks really neat. Some people say that when he is in Super 4 mode, he is called Gozita, but i'm not sure about that one. |
