DA YOS was created in January 2000 when they released an experimental mix cd. On April 10, 2000 DA YOS released their first original experimental single, "more stuff." This disc contained a few popular songs as well as a featured song recorded by jos and dav featuring guest artist benj with a a solo of his own on this song. In June 2000, DA YOS released and additional mix disc entitled "Tossed Salad." Just before this mix disc was released, Dav and Jos initiated benj as part of the band. Currently the memebers of DA YOS are working hard on their new upcoming disc, there first real album, sheduled to be released June 2002. This cd will be entirely compiled of DA YOS performed works. There is expected to be three featured song: one written by each member of the band. The music will be featuring the keyboard and sax, and the band concocted some interesting side instruments to enhance their songs. Also, the DA YOS members are getting in touch with their visually artistic side. They have created an abstract Art Gallery to accompany their upcoming album. Vote on your favorite depictions, and they may included in the ablum booklet. On January 5, 2002, the band worked hard at a computer to create a computer generated masterpiece. They succeeded; the result was titled "Song of an Autumn Tree" with source muisc form no mainstream artists.
