Acolytes
Career highlights: Tag Team Champions (2)

The scouting report on the Acolytes is simple: Don't make them mad. Faarooq and Bradshaw are two of the toughest S.O.B.s on the planet, and they love to kick ass just for fun! And don't ever interrupt the Acolytes when they're playing cards ... it may be a painful experience!

Al Snow
Career Highlights: Hardcore Champion (3); Tag Team Champion

Distressed over treatment by Federation brass in the past, Al Snow claims he has been psychologically traumatized as a result of his former "gimmicks," which include Avatar and Leif Cassidy. This has all driven Snow to take directions from "Head," a disembodied mannequin head he carries with him.

Lately, his partnership with the "Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman has boosted Al's stature in the Federation's tag team division. Only time will tell how far the team, affectionately known to the fans as "Head Cheese", will go in the tag team ranks.

The Big Show
Career Highlights: Federation Champion; Tag Team Champion (2)

The Big Show tore into the World Wrestling Federation—literally. He first showed up at St. Valentine’s Day Massacre in February 1999 by ripping through the ring canvas and, in an amazing display of strength, throwing Stone Cold Steve Austin through a steel cage! Since then he has proven that his big debut wasn’t a fluke. Simply put, the Big Show is a blue chipper. Whether it is lifting up an entire ring or pulling the entire Titan Tron down to the floor, he puts on a show that fans won’t soon forget.

Show realized a lifelong dream when he won the Federation Championship at 1999's Survivor Series.

Now, aligned with Shane McMahon, the Big Show is quickly on his way to returning to WWF Championship bliss.

Bad Ass Billy Gunn
Career highlights: 1999 King of the Ring, Hardcore Champion, Tag Team Champion (8)

He was a three-time Tag Team Champion as part of the Smokin’ Gunns, but Billy Gunn achieved most of his success once he decided to become "Badd Ass."

After the Gunns went their separate ways, Billy found a new attitude along with the Road Dogg Jesse James. As the New Age Outlaws, Road Dogg and Badd Ass have captured the Tag Team Titles five times and are arguably the greatest tag team in history. One night after WrestleMania XIV, the Outlaws joined D-Generation X, the most powerful and influential factions in Federation history. Together, the Outlaws became perhaps the most popular and successful duo in Federation history.

As great as Badd Ass is in the tag team ranks, many experts say Mr. Ass could be even better in singles competition. He began to live up to those high expectations when he nearly captured the Intercontinental Championship on multiple occasions, and then secured the Hardcore Title just before WrestleMania XV.

But whether its in singles competition or the tag team division, there's no denying Mr. Ass is a phenomenal athlete -- arguably the best pound-for-pound in the Federation.

Big Bossman
Career Highlights: Tag Team Champion, Hardcore Champion (4)

After being absent from the Federation for years, the Big Boss Man made his return to protect Vince McMahon from the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Undertaker. It wasn’t long before the Boss Man defeated Mankind for his first Federation title – the Hardcore Championship. Soon thereafter, he teamed up with Ken Shamrock to become one half of the Tag Team Champions.

His success since returning to the Federation should come as no surprise. He has shed the excess weight which hindered his success in the past. The man from Cobb County is now quicker and more dangerous than ever before.

The Boss Man is also more hardcore than ever. He has fed Al Snow his own dog, dragged the casket of the Big Show's father behind a car, and has been Hardcore Champion on several occasions!

Cactus Jack
Cactus Jack Career Highlights: Tag Team Champion
Mick Foley Career Highlights: Federation Champion (3), Tag Team Champion (8)

Cactus Jack represents the most sick, the most twisted, the most delusional side of Mick Foley's personality.

On the Jan. 13, 2000, edition of SmackDown!, Cactus Jack returned just in time to take on Triple H in a brutal Street Fight for the Federation Championship at Royal Rumble.

Cactus is one of the three faces of Long Island native Mick Foley, along with the deranged Mankind and chick magnet Dude Love, that has been seen in the Federation.

Whichever persona Foley competes under, his ability to battle through injury and entertain has earned him the respect and admiration of Federation fans.

Chris Benoit
Career highlights: Intercontinental Champion (current)

There is little doubt among those who have followed his career that Chris Benoit is one of the most skilled technical wrestlers to ever compete in sports entertainment. His style, which sometimes resembles art more than wrestling, has earned him accolades all over the world in the past decade.

As a young Canadian, Benoit was taken with the business and went on to train with the famed Stu Hart in Calgary. For years Benoit spread his talents out all over the globe. In addition to competing in Canada, he also worked in Japan, Germany and Mexico. During this time, Benoit met with a great deal of success in the New Japan promotion, where, as a Super Lightheavyweight, he put on some unbelievable matches with the likes of Jushin Liger and the Great Sasuke. Everyone began to take notice of Chris Benoit.

Although he was offered some jobs in the United States in the early part of the 90s, Benoit’s career didn’t really take off in America until he joined Extreme Championship Wrestling in 1994.

Refusing to show compassion, Benoit immediately picked up the nickname "Crippler," for the devastating condition he left his opponents in. There was no doubt that Chris showed promise as a singles competitor in ECW, but it was alongside Dean Malenko that he earned gold with the promotion.

The next step on Chris Benoit’s world tour was World Championship Wrestling. Throughout his tenure with the Atlanta-based promotion, Benoit showed amazing ability and unlimited potential.

Chris achieved nearly everything he possibly could in WCW, and this past January he topped it off by defeating Sid Vicious to become the Heavyweight Champion.

The following night before Nitro went on the air, the WCW front office elected to strip Chris Benoit of the honor he earned less than 24 hours before. Benoit was never seen on WCW television again.

Now Chris Benoit’s journey to the top has ended right where it should – on top, in the World Wrestling Federation. There is no doubt that this young man has already proven he can achieve extraordinary things inside the squared circle, and now that he’s with the WWF, his career may hit heights few have seen before.

Chris Jericho
Career Highlights: Intercontinental Champion, European Champion

He calls himself a new hero. Your new party host. The Ayatollah of Rock n' Roll-a. The Y2J problem. Call him whatever you want, but the fact remains...Chris Jericho has arrived in the World Wrestling Federation!

With one of the most spectacular entrances in the history of sports-entertainment, Jericho made his Federation debut live in Chicago on RAW IS WAR!

Although he's only been here for a short while, Jericho has everyone talking. He feels that he is here to save the Federation, and that every single superstar and fan should be down on their knees thanking Jericho for coming. Needless to say, not everyone feels the same way Jericho does.

Whatever this brash young superstar has in mind for the Federation and its fans, it's sure to be exciting and surprising!

Christian
Career Highlights: Light Heavyweight Champion, Tag Team Champion (current)

Christian is an impressive young athlete. This Gothic Warrior is fearless in the ring, and often risks his own health in order to execute maneuvers.

Christian came to the Federation as Gangrel’s protégé. It was later learned that Christian was in fact Edge’s brother. The three Gothic Warriors had a brief but stormy history until they finally united as the Brood.

This former Light Heavyweight Champion may be light in poundage, but makes up for it in his fearless ring style. He is destined to lead the Federation into the next millennium.

Chyna
The Ninth Wonder of the World
Career Highlights: Intercontinental Champion (2)

As the song says ... "Don't treat me like a woman, don't treat me like a man ... don't treat me like you know me ... treat me for just who I am!"

Chyna has proven her mettle in the ring. She was first woman ever to compete in both the Royal Rumble and the King of the Ring tournament! Then, she became the first-ever female Intercontinental Champion at October 1999's No Mercy. After all these accolades, World Wrestling Federation fans voted her "Diva of the Year!"

The sultry diva is not afraid of anyone, and is a hero and role model to millions of Federation fans, male and female.

Crash Holly
Career Highlights: Tag Team Champion, Hardcore Champion (4) (current)

When Hardcore Holly introduced his cousin, Crash, to the World Wrestling Federation, a new era of "super heavyweights" was ushered in. Crash has the same delusion as his veteran cousin. He feels that he is at a level of competition where facing anyone under 6'6" and 400 pounds would be a waste of time.

To test his opponents, Crash sometimes carries a scale to the ring prior to his and Hardcore's contests. If their opponents do not meet the "minimum requirements," the Hollys may refuse to wrestle them. Needless to say, this ritual has not endeared the cousins to many superstars, and if they keep it up, the Hollys may get more than they bargained for.

Dean Malenko
Career highlights: Light Heavyweight Champion (current)

Much like his four peers who entered the World Wrestling Federation at the same time, this seasoned grappler received accolades all over the world before making it big in the United States. Traveling the world, competing against the likes of Chris Benoit and Eddy Guerrero, Dean built a reputation as one of the most skilled mat technicians competing in the entire industry.

Although Malenko enjoyed success overseas, his ultimate goal always remained to make it big in this business in the U.S. When he joined Extreme Championship Wrestling, Dean finally had an avenue to showcase his extraordinary talents to the American audience.

Once again, the paths of these four radicals crossed in ECW when Malenko was involved in a legendary feud with Eddy Guerrero over the promotion’s TV Title. At one point, the two men competed in a match that concluded with a time-limit draw – 30 minutes of what is considered by many the greatest match in ECW history.

Soon after though, WCW and its money came courting Malenko and his skill. As is the case with his three associates, Malenko’s time in Atlanta will always be remembered as unfulfilling. Through battles with Chris Jericho, Eddy Guerrero and many others, it appeared Malenko was on the fast track to the top in WCW. However, there still seemed to be a "glass ceiling."

Malenko is now ready to take his opportunity in the WWF and prove to the world that he deserves to be thought of as a main-eventer.

Delo Brown
Career Highlights: European Champion (4); Intercontinental Champion

D'Lo Brown is considered to be one of the most technically gifted competitors in the World Wrestling Federation. His 'Lo Down finishing maneuver, a version of the Frog Splash, is a top-rope aerial weapon that is truly awe-inspiring.

Brown began his career in the Federation as a bodyguard for The Nation, but has since let his individual abilities shine. This Certified Public Accountant, who graduated from the University of Maine, has really come into his own. With his brains and ability, there's no telling how far D'Lo could go!

The Dudley Boyz
Career highlights: Tag Team Champions

The Dudley Boyz have made claims on many occasions that they are the best tag team in the world today, and they believe that history supports their beliefs. The Dudley Boyz spent the last four years in the Philadelphia-based Extreme Championship Wrestling promotion. Buh Buh Ray joined up first, and D-Von, a native of the "South Side of Dudleyville," came shortly after.

While there, they built up an entire entourage that joined them during their appearances. D-Von and Buh Buh Ray, though, were the two stellar standouts of the group, and once they decided to combine their skills and compete as a tag team, they were virtually unstoppable. The Dudleys competed in some of the most violent, bloody and dangerous matches ever in ECW, battling in barbed-wire rings and throwing their opponents through flaming tables on many occasions. In addition, their finisher, 3-D -- the Dudley Death Drop -- is one of the most feared maneuvers in the world.

Aside from their death-defying tactics in the ring, the duo has quite a reputation for being crude, crass and vulgar. Throughout their careers, the Dudley Boyz have shown an utter disregard for the fans, their opponents and really pretty much anybody who comes into contact with them. With the Dudleys, one message still comes through very clearly -- don't mess with the Dudley Boyz.

Eddy Guerrero
Career highlights: European Champion (current)

Growing up, there were probably only a few days in which Eddy dreamed of being anything other than a World Wrestling Federation Superstar. His father, Gory, is recognized as the founder of lucha libre and considered by many to be the greatest professional wrestler in Mexican history. His older brothers, Chavo, Mando and Hector all joined the "family business" as well.

After competing on the collegiate level at the University of New Mexico, Eddy left the world of amateur wrestling behind to head back to El Paso, Texas, where he begun training under the watchful eye of his father. In the late 80s, the youngest Guerrero debuted in Mexico’s EMLL promotion.

Over the next few years, he garnered a great deal of success competing in the tag team ranks with his brothers. In addition, he earned titles in the singles division of the promotion, wrestling under a mask as "Mascara Magician." Once he switched over to the AAA promotion, Eddy took the mask off, and at the same time, his career took a turn for the better.

By 1993, he was splitting his time between Mexico and Japan, and regularly competing against men like Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit, 2 Cold Scorpio and Jushin "Thunder" Liger in some of the most incredible matches ever seen. Within a year, his career in Japan began to stall when promoters put him back under a mask.

Mexico was a different story though. Along with Art Barr, Rad Radford and Konnan, Guerrero formed "Los Gringos Locos," the most over "heel" clique in AAA history. Feuding with every top star in the promotion, Eddy’s career was really cooking as 1995 approached. Tragedy and bad luck intervened though, and soon Eddy was out of Mexico and without a job.

A man as talented as Eddy Guerrero wouldn’t be on the sidelines long, and he soon turned up in Extreme Championship Wrestling and won the TV Title the first night he was there. With the gold around his waist, Guerrero soon began an unforgettable feud with Dean Malenko. The two future superstars took part in one championship match that is still considered by many as the greatest in the promotion’s history.

Thanks in part to matches like that, Eddy was offered a contract by World Championship Wrestling near the end of 1995. Over the next few years while Guerrero worked in Atlanta, he was never able to establish himself as a main player. Although he was involved in a number of popular storylines, but Guerrero could never truly take control.

Eddy Guerrero has now fulfilled a family dream by entering the World Wrestling Federation. With the world of bad backstage politics behind him, there is no doubt he will go on to fulfill the expectations that everyone has always had for him.

Essa Rios and Lita
Career highlights: Light Heavyweight Champion

The former Papi Chulo reemerged in the WWF on the Feb. 13 edition of Sunday Night HEAT with his valet, Lita. On that night, the Latin superstar defeated Gillberg to become the new WWF Light Heavyweight Champion. Using an aerial attack, the high-flyer decimated the former Duane Gill, and following the match, Lita showed the world that she had skills as well after hitting a moonsault to finish off the fallen opponent.

Essa Rios is an aerial wizard who strikes with deadly accuracy. Spinning planchas or suicide dives frequently obliterate his unsuspecting opponents. Only time will tell how far the aerial attack of Essa Rios and Lita will take them.

Edge
Career Highlights: Intercontinental Champion, Tag Team Champion (current)

Though still in his mid-twenties, Edge is already one of the brightest young stars superstars in the World Wrestling Federation. He enters the ring through the crowd, thrilling the fans around him.

The Canadian superstar has excelled in both singles and tag team action. He won the Intercontinental Championship in his hometown of Toronto last July, much to the excitement of the crowd in the SkyDome. Along with Christian, he was also a part of one of the most legendary tag team matches of all time, the Ladder Match at No Mercy in October 1999.

Whether teaming up with Christian or competing one-on-one, Edge is one of the true blue-chippers of the World Wrestling Federation.

Godfather
Career Highlights: Intercontinental Champion

The Godfather is a highly-regarded No Holds Barred fighter. His love of hurting people has made him a fearsome force. However, his love of pimpin' has made him a popular superstar among all the Federation's fans.

The Godfather is always escorted to the ring by some of his finest ladies. Usually, he will offer his opponents an evening with these ladies of the night. If they refuse, the Godfather doesn't mind…he just takes off his jewelry and gives his opponent a beating. After all, pimpin' ain't easy!

Hardcore Holly
Career Highlights: Hardcore Champion (3), Tag Team Champion (2), NWA Tag Team Champion

Hardcore Holly was a tired man. A veteran of the World Wrestling Federation who, along with X-Pac (then known as the 1-2-3 Kid), became Federation Tag Team Champions several years ago, Holly had been through it all. He even held the NWA Tag Team Belts with Bart Gunn as the New Midnight Express.

He joined the Federation under the name Sparky Plugg in the early 1990s. He is a licensed NASCAR driver, after all. He thought it would be an instant ticket to fortune.

It didn’t happen. He became disenchanted with the Federation front office. After a brief stretch in the J.O.B. Squad, Holly developed a harder edge. With that, he focused his attention on the Hardcore Championship. He beat Al Snow at the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre to secure the vacant Hardcore Championship, lost it, and regained it again at WrestleMania XV.

Holly is hardcore to the bone. He’s not above cracking a glass pitcher or coffee mug in someone’s face so long as it results in victory. That attitude is perfect for the Federation’s Hardcore Division. In addition, he's one of the most technically sound competitors in the Federation. His dropkick is considered by many to be the best in the business. His combination of technical skill and hardcore attitude make him a contender for all singles title and, along with his cousin Crash, the Tag Team Championship as well.
