Well darlings, we have made this page because it has come to our attention that some people do not know how to receive a compliment like a darling. For example, person x says to person y, "wow your hair sure looks good!" and person y says, "No it doesn't, it looks awful, I spent ages blowdrying it this morning and now it's gone all pouffy," or even worse, person y could reply, "Wow, do you really think so? That's amazing! We could be bestest friends!" How desperate?! Obviously, person x's response would be to walk away. Person y has just lost a friend! A friend who likes her hair.
You see, the good thing about darlings is that they're modest. If either of us, Katherine or Edwina received a compliment, our reply would be, "We know," and we'd walk away - leaving the person who paid us the compliment wrapped around our little finger. That's why we're so popular, you know. We're not desperate, like some people.
