This is a temporary website to give some miscellaneous information about the band until a permanent site is built. Also, We encompass several genres of music, and hope you will give a listen when you get the chance. |
When Matt Grubaugh left the local band Paper Red, it was because he wanted to have creative control over his own project, where his lead vocals would still be put to good use, but where his guitar could finally run the show. The former bass player and former drummer of Paper Red, Greg Davis and Justin Davis (brothers) agreed to jam with Matt until he found permanent bandmates. By the end of the second jam session, it was evident that Greg and Justin were not just stand-ins, and the band Tainted was formed. After only three months of practice the band has written an entire album, and are hoping to add a few more tracks so their fans have even more music to listen to and enjoy. With several influences, including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Creed among others, each song is crafted in a different way, and with a free-floating method of writing. Everyone in the group brings something valuable to the table, and each plays a hand that will not disappoint. When the cards are dealt, don't bet against them. |

| Plans are currently underway for the release of the tentatively titled "Portrait of Poor Traits," the first album by the group. The album will be completely self-produced, and most of the material has already been written. There is not a set date as of yet, but the album will be on sale by the end of summer. Lyrics and audio clips will be up on our permanent site soon. Because we believe in giving our fans a treat, the album will have about 15 tracks, all of which have a unique style and sound.
