DEMI-HUMANS
The most favorable of the Concoridan demi-humans are the gnomes and goblins, thanks to there great bartering skills. they can be found spread out evenly throughout the concordian provinces with tradeing posts and in the larger cities a nice portion of the cities shops. The dwarves mostly reside in the snow peaked Ganden Mountains which run along the northern provinces of Korinia Taerdeece, and Khoton, although Khoton is where the dwarven cities and villages outside of the mountains. The elves of Concordia stay mostly in thier home province of Korinia, but are not the same elves considered in other worlds or the typical elves of the d&d game. They are a diffrent kind of elf one that values might just as much if not more than justice. One that lives amongst the humanoid races while the same time despising them. In general they carry on the features of a high elf, but there morals and values are diffrent. But to classify all the elves of concorida as evil would be a huge injustice, as many despise others of their race and seek to oppose them when given the opportunity. The dark elves or Jekur are a playable class in concordia, while you might not run into many dark elven npcs on Concorida. Infact in most cultures you will be looked apon as an oddity. There have been rumors that great cities were built by the Jekur , but nothing had ever been found from the many search partys returned empty handed. These are not the same thing as the forgotten realms drow, they are the same as Concordias other elves except there skin is pitch black. The Jekur do not recieve an special bonus other than hide in shadows bonuses(most things can still see you though). Halflings are a decimated race that survives by running and hideing. Most live like wild and fearful creatures, slowly losing all signs of their once lively heritage. Halfings are hunted by the humanoids because of their allaiance with the humans so long ago, but unlike humans, they are killed instead of captured(as they are known to be poor slaves). Only their apparent meekness has allowed the noble race to live at all. |
