Greetings and welcome to the Dark Destiny Campaign. This is a Dungeons and Dragons game that will be played online using webrpg. The game allows for you to create an indepth character and roleplay in the land of Concordia, only you can affect the fate of your character while even your littlest action might change the fates of Concordia itself. Players will be assigned to games on a first come, first serve basis. Please take your time and read through the players section of the website. If you think that you would like to be a part of this rare world, the go to the character area and submit a character. We are also accepting applications for DM'S. Desperation permeates the air as concordia stands alone to face the a frightning new menace. The sun descends below the horizon, its rays highlighting the last vestiges of hope. Taking in a quick glance brings a sense of foreboding, yet the people seem unafraid, the armies unprepared, the world unaware. Gods weep and cry out ambiguous warnings. The victims of the uncaring apocolypse are not the deceased, but the decieved. The universe itself cries out to stop them, to bring the devastation to a close for all eternity. But how can such a menace be overcome? And if a thing is possible, what makes Concordia special anyways? Can she dare presume to be worthier of survival than the others? Silence answers as the dead of night becons... Concordia is many things to many different people To its soldiers and other fighters, Concordia is a proud culture of hardened warriors, where might and skill are of the highest virtue. These qualities enable the strong and daring to gain whatever is they may seek, whether this be glory, wealth, fame, or power. It is truly a land where might makes right, yet those of quick wit and great cunning may hold an upperhand. To the merchant class, it is a place of somewhat limited commerce, Yet not without potential gain. The crafty or persistent salesman can still make an excellent living despit the society's pre-occupation with war. To the skilled crafstman, Concorida offers a great deal. Smiths and stonemasons are in high demand, as are leatherworkers and many others. To humans and slaves, the land is cruel indeed. Humans are hated, hunted, enslaved, or killed without provacation by many. Yet there still lies hope in the humans culture and the last free city of Somber Falls. Other slaves have it little better, but many of these at least have the opportunity to buy their freedom or escape and fing a new home. Humans, in contrast, have few places to hide. To those who visit concordia for the first time, the land and culture offers myster, hardship, opportunity, and of course death. Cconcordia is ripe with intrigue and adventure, eagerly anticipating the appearance of able-bodied men and women to discover its secrets and change the course of the world. But nothing worth doing is ever easy, and many obstacles stand in the paths of even the most determined of heroes. |
