Aloha and welcome to the Damien Museum which is devoted to the history of Blessed Father Damien's humanitarian work in the islands. The museum is located on the grounds of St. Augustine By The Sea Church on the beach in Waikiki. Admission is free although a donation would help to maintain and reinvigorate the museum.

The hours of operation are 0900-1500 Monday-Friday and on other days for special occasions. The museum is normally closed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays; however, the Knights of Columbus volunteers man the museum on the third and fourth Sunday mornings for our off-island visitors.

The Knights of Columbus Kamiano Council 11743 has a special relationship with the museum. More details may be found by clicking on the following: Kamiano Council.

Damien Museum features a 20-minute videocassette, entitled "Tribute to Father Damien," which describes the life and charitable works of Blessed Father Damien. This truly inspirational and educational video can be purchased for $25 and is highly recommended for viewing by family members, friends and any religious or community organization.
The video and the following publications may be purchased from the museum whose address is listed below. For orders under two pounds, the cost for handling and shipping by air mail within the US is $3 and for foreign countries is $5. Advance payment to Damien Museum is required by cashier's check or money order. Credit cards are not accepted and please do not send cash.
