Strum, strum, strumming on the old guitar
Thinking of days when I'll be a superstar
Maybe I'll be famous, be a movie star
And when I'm famous, in my basment'll a salad bar
When I'm famous do you think I'll have a Jaguar?
Am I just dreaming it up or is that really a car?
I guess, I could also get the animal of the jaguar.
We could live in a mansion down in Zanzibar
My team of butlers, they'd be all-star
This is all that I have thought about so far

Little did I know in my thoughts of prosperity
Soon there would be an irregularity
A peculiarity, one barbarity, an insincerity, some hilarity
All right, I guess I'm just rambling...ity
There is actually a point to my charity

I turned off the amp because I was done
Wrapping up another tasty jam session
I pulled the plug, but it wouldn't come out
Stubborn, stupid plug. See what I deal with day in, day out?

Why not lets get down to the meat of this song
Your boredom I do not wish to prolong
That stubborn plug stayed in its place
So I gave a chuckle and put a smile on my face
There was a space between the outlet and the plug
This I noticed as I gave it a tug
I took my trusty, thrusty thumb
Little did I know this move was dumb
I placed my thumb between the outlet and the plug
The next sound was (electric shock noise), oh ba humbug

IT WAS A SHOCKING EXPERIENCE
A SHOCKING EXPERIENCE
LAUGHTER CAN KNOW COMMENCE
TOWARD MY SHOCKING EXPERIENCE

A jolt through the thumb, through the wrist, through the arm
Truly this must be a cause for alarm
Dropped the outlet as soon as I could
This song, these words, they're no falsehood
Now my left arm, it feels rather laden
And I know never to do that again
If there's one thing you learn through this utter waste of time
Time wasted listening to me rhyme
Don't stick your finger in an outlet
Unless, of course, you want a

SHOCKING EXPERIENCE
THIS SONG IS NO FALSE PRETENSE
I EVEN HAVE THE EVIDENCE
ALL RIGHT, MAYBE NOT, BUT COMMON SENSE
LEARN FROM MY SHOCKING EXPERIENCE
