PUBLICITY MANAGEMENT
An image-building and awareness enhancing effort, it keeps the client and/or its product/services in the limelight through the tri-media primarily by means of press releases.
It is CTE's task to prepare and release these news and feature materials and monitor their use in media.
MEDIA RELATIONS
Publicity, more often than not, is not effective without establishing goodwill and subsequently a relationship with the people behind the professional media.
Contact between the client and with those who hold influence and make decisions in media outlets and nurturing the acquaintances are looked into by CTE.
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
Some firms need to have good ties with certain government agencies, especially if their business is under the watchful eyes of such offices.
Some want to establish links with officials for image-building purposes and/or to gain marketing edge by making them indirect endorsers of their firm or its products/services.
CTE serves as liaison to these government offices and/or their respective key officers.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Certain firms, especially manufacturers and real estate developers, need to keep a good image with the Community, esp. where their premises or business operations are located.
Some firms need to establish rapport to a community, itself their market, to ensure patronage of their products.
This may be in a form of events, civic-oriented activities or efforts directed at addressing actual community concerns -- environment, utility services, livelihood, living, etc.
CTE will prepare, organize and facilitate the realization of community-oriented programs.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
People in media, in government and the community are stakeholders of a company. Stakeholders refer to people who have a particular interest in a particular company.
Such stakeholders include stockholders, employees, suppliers, product dealers/distributors, their families and outside contacts, enterprising people who take opportunity in the "boom," customers and the competitors themselves.
It is CTE's responsibility to keep good rapport with these stakeholders and handle any problem that may arise when certain stakeholders get out of hand.
PR CRISIS MANAGEMENT
If a stakeholder goes out of hand, that's a crisis!
Any incident that negatively affects either, or both, the production or sale of a product or service is a crisis. It becomes a PR crisis if it reaches the target market or the public.
Ecological issues against developers, neighbors complaining against a manufacturer, and government officials or consumers raising hell against a company or its product are examples.
CTE makes sure a Client takes pro-active rather than reactive stance to an issue, works to prevent it from being blown out of proportion and helps in "healing wounds."
MARKET RESEARCH
A marketing plan, and its corresponding communication scheme, will be effective if based on market realities, which can be determined from scientific market studies.
CTE can facilitate the conduct of such survey or research work in any place in the Visayas and Mindanao.
ADVERTISING MANAGEMENT
CTE can plan and implement an advertising program for a Client that appeals to the domestic psyche of a particular market place; assist it in producing the needed ad materials and in placement and monitoring works.
CTE does it from planning, to conceptualization, to production, placement, monitoring and post-campaign evaluation. It can assist the Client's Manila-based ad agency.
SALES PROMOTIONS
Incentives and come-ons help move products. They entice consumers to avail of a service or purchase a product.
CTE will prepare and facilitate the implementation of such schemes that must be well-attuned to the Marketing Plan of the Client.
SALES SUPPORT
Audio-visuals help in selling, especially if the product or service that is being offered could not just be carried by hand.
A video presentation, an impressive brochure, an informative leaflet, an attractive flyer mind-stimulating banners are just some of these tools in selling.
CTE will assist in producing these materials.
EVENTS MARKETING
Activities help sell a product. Or at least, they tell the market that such a product is available in town.
Conventions & seminars, cocktail parties, exhibits & trade fairs, concerts & shows, parades & motorcades, sports events, etc., market products and services.
It is the role of CTE to organize an event or pave the way for a Client's participation in an event whose participants/spectators belong to the target market of its product.
COMPETITIVE MONITORING
To win a battle, you have to know your enemy. In marketing, one can never come up with a good plan if the strength and movements of the competitors are not considered.
Although limited to the competitors' parallel PR/ Communication works, CTE will do the necessary monitoring and provide a Client with the needed inputs.
