| 4/29/00 - Sunday, 4/30/00 Practice - Canceled. Just a reminder note that practice for Sunday, 4/30/00 @ 1:00 pm has been canceled due to the Men's Olympic Game in Hershey. The next practice is scheduled for Monday, 5/1/00 @ 6:30 pm @ Vo-Tech. 4/19/00 - Friday, 4/21/00 Practice - Canceled. As a matter of record...there is no practice Friday, 4/21/00. Any questions, please contact me at your conveneince. 4/5/00 - Practice Schedule Changes. As of 4/6/00, and until further notice, all 7:00 pm practices have been rescheduled for 6:30 pm. Once daylight extends further into the day then practices will be rescheduled from 6:30 pm back to 7:00 pm. Keeping looking for emails or updates to this page regarding this matter. 3/31/00 - Changes Associated with Sunday's Scrimmage - 4/2/00. The time and place of Sunday's match with Hampden has been altered due to field conditions. We will be playing at 1pm at a new field east of Sporting Hill Rd. I will be handing out directions at tonight's practice/meeting. Please update the e-mail or web site so that all information is consistent. Thanks, Pat 3/30/00 - Coaching Changes and Team Meeting, Friday, 3/31/00. As you are all probably aware by now, Peter Collins has resigned as coach of the U16 Coventry '83 team. Carl Wagner has accepted the challenge and will be coaching the team. On Friday, 3/31/00, Carl has indicated that he is willing to meet with the parents, after practice, to discuss his intentions and to answer any questions you may have regarding our current status/situation. Please plan to attend, if possible, so that we can continue to move our program in a positive direction. 3/26/00 - Scrimmage/Friendly Scheduled for Sunday, 4/2/00 This news bulletin just in...there will be a scrimmage/friendly game next Sunday, 4/2/00 @ 1:30 pm @ Cumberland Valley High School against the Hampden Hurricanes. The fields are located on the main complex...turn into the complex off of the Carlisle Pike (Route 11). After you have entered the complex, bear right past the tennis courts...the field that we will be using is adjacent to the student parking lot. Any questions, please contact me at your convenience. 3/3/00 - Important Message from Steve LaRue Concerning Red Rose Classic. Parents, I will start by apolgizing - I missed adding in requirements for the Red Rose Tournament registration fee in this month's bill. The Red Rose Tournament is the first weekend in May. It was added to the Coventry tournament list at a meeting in Janurary in order to keep the playing sechedule active between State Cups and the summer tournament schedule. I need everyone to please add an additional $17 to their amount due to cover the fee for the Red Rose. Also, everyone needs to be aware that if we make the semi-finals for State Cup, it is the same weekend as the Red Rose so we most likely will loose our registration fee for the tournament. It's a gamble but hopefully you will agree its a small price to pay if we go to the semi-final stage in State Cup. I hope everyone saw Pat Whaley's email - I need to collect from everyone this weekend in order to pay for shirts, Peter, and tournament entry fees - please bring your checkbooks.
