| Hiya, and WELCOME to the LESSONS PAGE!!!!!!! I am gonna have a lot of fun marking this work and giving it out to you, so I would be grateful if you don't dissapoint me by not bothering to do the work. Thank you. This week we are studying the Goberous fish, but next lesson we will be moving on to something FAR more interesting. I hope you all have your parchment and quills, 'cos this is a little test! Yay! There may be one or two people that I have given this information to already, but I don't have any one elses e-mail adresses, so I will just write down the information on the page. You might want to copy this information or save it somewhere, because the Goberous fish will probably come up in the end-of-year tests. O.K, here's the information about the Goberous fish: The Goberous fish is a large fish, roughly the size of a television. It has green spikes on it's back which hold poisen. You can always tell if it is male or female because the male's spikes are a darker shade of green. There are sensors near it's rear end which help it sense peoples movements above the water. Also there are large fins to swim faster and drive enemies away. If you got hit in the face by one of those deadly fins it would break your nose at the very least. It can come in any of these colours: purpple, silver, green, pink, gold, blue, yellow and red. The Goberous fish lurks beneath the surface of the water in lakes or ponds, and when it senses people near it, a spurt of poisen shoots from a hole amongst the spikes straight into the air. The poisen is all the colours of the rainbow, one of the most beautiful things in the world, and it attracts people towards it so that when they are close enough the poisen shoots right at them, paralizing them and knocking them over. The Goberous fish then drags their victims into the water and eats them, alive or dead. To fight these beasts you need to say "GOBEROUS FAROBEROUS!". If you have read this through thoroughly, you will be able to answer these questions: 1) What must you say to fight them? 2) What do they look like? 3) How do they attack? 4) What colours can they come in? 5) True or false: The female's spikes are darker? 6) What does the poisen do? 7) ROUGHLY how big are they? 8) How do they know if people are near them? 9) What colour is the poisen? 10) What do the fins do? And a bonus question for up to five points: 11) Write a paragraph about what you think about the Goberous fish (You don't HAVE to do hthis.).
