1. Texas--Andrea Yates--Trial date set for 1/7/02. Pre-trial motions to be heard 12/3/01. Pray for a fair and just trial and for compassion. Pray for her life and salvation.

2. Florida--10/12 trial for the guards who caused the death of Frank Valdez is to begin. Pray for truth and justice.

3. Tennessee--Christa Pike--D/R-- Continue to pray for this lady who has given up her appeals. She is feeling very depressed and without hope.

4. Nevada--Erin Kuhn--Facing the death penalty-- Pray for her life and salvation.

5. Virginia--Robin Lovitt--D/R--while appeals were still available for this man, a clerk threw out trial evidence. Judge says he does not think it was done with ill will. DNA evidence was part of what was thrown out. Pray as led.

6. Virginia--James Gibson (19) --Charged with 1st degree(capital) murder--case sent to grand jury. Pray for truth and justice and his life and salvation.

7. Virginia--John East--Charged with capital murder and now may face the death penalty. Pray for truth and justice and his life and salvation.

8. Georgia--Praise--Supreme Court ruled to ban the electric chair.

9. Tennessee--Death penalty opponents are seeking to raise money to launch a public relations campaign to save D/R inmate, Aba-Ali Abdur Rahman, who is next in line for execution. Pray as led.

10. A Paris based human rights group says the most people who are on death row in the USA did not receive a fair trial and asks the US Supreme Court to declare the D/P unconstitutional. Pray as led.

11. Connecticut--Gregory Pierce--Murder trial is now headed for the jury--He may face the death penalty. Pray for his life and salvation.

12. Oklahoma-Continue to pray about the review of the cases in which Joyce Gilchrest presented false evidence and gave false testimony which affected D/R case.

13. Illinois--Marilyn Lemak--Facing the Death Penalty. Pray for her life and salvation.

14. Pennsylvania--Joseph Cornelius-- pray for a fair and just trial for this man who is charged with murder and also for his life and salvation.

15. New Mexico--Terry Clark--D/R-- scheduled to be executed on 11/6--This will be the first execution in NM in 41 years. Pray for his life and salvation.

16. North Carolina--David Ward--D/R--scheduled to be executed on 10/12-- Pray for his life and salvation.

17. North Carolina--Gov. Easley commuted the death sentence of Robert Bacon, Jr. to life in prison. Praise the Lord.

18. Missouri--Kim Davis-- Convicted of murder and given a sentence of life without parole. Pray for her salvation.

19. Ohio--Stanley Adams--His fate is in the hands of the jury--Pray for the jury and pray for Adam's life and salvation.

20. Missouri--Pray for the family and friends of Michael Roberts who was executed last week.

21. Pray for those who are awaiting execution this month.

22. Illinois--Ronald Kliner-- D/R--Defense attorney believes DNA testing will prove Him innocent. Pray for truth and justice and his life and salvation.

23. Pray for the group, The Journey of Hope to Healing, a non-profit organization led by slain people's family members and family members of D/R inmates. This group is traveling around the USA, Canada, and Europe to get their message of finding alternatives to the death penalty and of forgiveness, hope and healing, out to everyone.

24. California--James Odle--D/R--US Supreme Court decided that this lobotomized inmate should get a hearing to determine whether he was competent during trial. Pray for his life and salvation and for truth and justice at this hearing.

25. Illinois--Aaron Patterson--D/R--Says he will rebuff any offer to admit guilt and abandon his long standing claims of police torture for a chance to go free.-- Pray as led.

26. Florida--The Protection Against Sexual Violence in Florida Jails and Prisons Act make it a felony for county and private corrections employees to have sex with inmates. Until now the law only applies to state employees. Praise God for the establishment of such a legislation.

27. Oklahoma--Please pray for Nadean on D/R. Prosecutors are seeking and execution date. She is Born Again and Spirit Filled and is very positive and looking forward to going home to Glory. She asks for pray for her father, Ray, her brothers, Bob and Henry and her kids, Greg, Teresa, Kevin and Hork. Also pray for her spiritual advisor, Rev. T.L. Jones who will witness her homegoing. Rev. Tom says it will be hard to say good-bye to another dear friend.
