Well Nick and I went down to the Pokemon Stadium to watch some of the trainers battle their Pokemon. There were some pretty intense matches going on, but it seemed that the novice trainer had a hard time winning. I fought my way down to the drink stand, through all of those filthy Pokemon so I could me and Nick a couple of lemonades (too hot for anything else), when I saw the novice trainer sitting in a corner crying. I walked up to him to ask what his problem was and he said that he was just not as strong as the other trainers, and he was tired of losing all of the time. I told him who I was and that I would be more than happy to lend him a hand. I told him to sit tight and I would be right back with a surprise for him. I ran up the coliseum to grab Nick and tell him what was going on. He said that he wanted to help and that he had something up his sleeve anyway. I was more than happy to pass this case off to Nick since I have dealt with Pokemon for a while now. Nick ran off to take the shuttle back to GS HQ so he could begin his work. He met me back in the stadium about five minutes later (in video game land you travel at the speed of light) with a little surprise in the handy GameShark format. We ran down to the sidelines where the young trainer was now sitting, and Nick tossed him the GS. We told him that he was going to kick some serious ass when he stepped back into the ring to battle. He didn't believe us, but he was up to battle next anyway. When he got in the ring, his world was turned upside down. After he called out Celebi, Celebi attacked and all of his opponent's Pokemon fainted! The crowd went wild! He won with one hit! The trainer was ecstatic, this was his day! After all of the matches were over, he congratulated Nick on the special power, and we were off to GS HQ again. Now you can have the power to knock out all of your opponents' Pokemon by just hitting a button! You can work your way up the trainers' ladder with speed. You will be that master trainer that you had always wanted to be. |
