Pokemon 2-Player Starter Set:
The two player starter set is made up of two preconstructed 30-card
decks, each to help you understand the basic rules of the POKEMON
TRADING CARD GAME. You can also combine the two 30 card decks into 1
Official 60 card deck that you can use in tournaments, etc. . There
is also an extra Holographic MACHAMP card, which you can put in by
taking out your least favorite card and putting MACHAMP in, so you
remain with 60 cards. Here's exactly what you'll find in it:
The First Deck: The Second Deck:
14 Fighting Energy 14 Fire Energy
3 Diglett 4 Ponyta
4 Machop 4 Charmander
2 Machoke 2 Charmeleon
2 Rattata 1 Growlithe
1 Dratini 1 Bill
2 Potion 1 Gust Of Wind
1 Energy Removal 2 Switch
1 Pokedex 1 Energy Retrieval
Extra Card:
Machamp(Holographic)
The WATER BLAST Theme Deck:
The goal of the WATER BLAST deck is to use Fighting and other Pokemon
to stall for time while you build up a Water Pokemon that uses a WATER
GUN. You can also build up a better evolved Pokemon to help you win, like
Rhydon or Persian. To Improve your deck, you'll need to collect some more
POKEMON cards! This version of the deck focuses more on the WATER
GUNS by adding Poliwrath. Adding Dewgong and another Seel gives the deck
some needed Water power (As does swapping out FIGHTING Energy for WATER
Energy). Here is what you'll find in the WATER BLAST Theme Deck:
14 WATER energy 2 Gust of Wind
4 Poliwag 2 Potion
2 Poliwhirl 1 Professor Oak
1 Seel 2 Super Potion
1 Vaporeon(Holographic) 1 Switch
14 FIGHTING energy
2 Machop
1 Rhydon
3 Rhyhorn
4 Eevee
4 Meowth
2 Persian
Here is an example of what you can do to "Pep up" your deck a little:
Remove: Add*:
1 FIGHTING energy 2 WATER energy
2 Meowth 1 Dewgong
1 Persian 1 Poliwrath
1 Rhyhorn 1 Seel
This is something that I wouldn't recommend doing, unless you like WATER
Type Pokemon cards ALOT.
The POWER RESERVE Theme Deck:
The goal of the POWER RESERVE deck is for your pokemon to bring out
more and more friends and family Pokemon, with Nidoran(CALL FOR FAMILY),
Bellsprout(CALL FOR FAMILY), and Oddish(SPROUT) leading the charge.
Then, once you have filled your bench, you can upgrade to Nidorina,
Weepinbell, and Gloom to turn the tide in your favor! Use Jynx, Abra,
and Kadabra to back up your Grass Pokemon, and you'll be victorious.
To improve your deck, you'll need to collect some more POKEMON cards!
Here is one way to give this POWER RESERVE deck even more awesome
Pokemon power. Wigglytuff's DO THE WAVE attack works very well with
the POWER RESERVE Theme deck-you can ensure that Wigglytuff will have
5 Benched Pokemon to work with at all times! Here is what you'll find
in the POWER RESERVE Theme Deck:
17 GRASS energy 2 Bill
4 Bellsprout 2 Gust of Wind
1 Gloom 1 Pokedex
4 Nidoran Female 3 Potion
2 Nidorina 1 Switch
2 Oddish
2 Weppinbell
11 PSYCHIC energy
4 Abra
1 Jynx
2 Kadabra
1 Kangaskhan(Holographic)
Here is an example of how to "Pep Up" your deck:
Remove: Add*:
1 Gloom 4 Jigglypuff
2 Oddish 2 Wigglytuff
1 Jynx
1 Kangaskhan(Holographic)
1 Gust of Wind
I don't think that it's very smart to do all this very UNREASONABLE
removing and stupid adding! I think you should remove& add like this:
Remove: Add*:
1 Bellsprout 1 Mewtwo
1 Nidoran Female 2 Jigglypuff
1 Gust of Wind 1 Wigglytuff
1 Bill
At least this way you're not removing most of your best cards!
You Probably have Ideas of your own for Decks, and maybe even ideas of how
to remove/add cards, but in order to add the cards, you have to own them
first! |
