Rolling invincibility:
Hold L1 or R1 and jump to roll to either side. Megaman will be momentarily invincible during this time.

Unlimited money (method 1):
Play the beast hunter game at the studio and get 4000 gold for completing grade A . Repeat this as needed to earn as much money as possible.

Unlimited money (method 2):
Locate the garbage can and pop can on the ground near the Jetlad Bakery on the Shopping Street. Kick the can into the bakery and speak to the woman inside to receive $1,000. This may be repeated to collect an unlimited amount of money.

Bonus options:
Complete the game to unlock an additional option (in green) on the main menu that allows the game to be played at a more difficult level. Defeat the game under the new difficulty level to unlock another option (in yellow) that allows the game to be played at an easier difficulty level, with dash boots and full left arm weapon capability.

Control camera:
At various times during the briefing sequences, "Camera Change" and "Camera Free" will be displayed. Press Square or Triangle to change the zoom. Press Circle to change views. Press X to stop the scene.

Hint: Extra life:
Some opponents have small "lego men" pirates appear they are killed. To get free energy cubes, shoot the "lego man" a couple of times with the buster. Then, kick him after he's been taken care of. A life cube should appear. You can kick him about three times and it will stop.

Hint: Checking trash cans for items:
Check trash cans for items by kicking them. The lid will fly up if there is nothing inside. The can will just wobble if there is Zenny or a item inside.

Hint: Free pop:
Locate the area with all the tanklike bots in Clover Woods very early in the game. Go around the smoking police car to see a shack up on a hill. Move closer and you will see a pop machine next to it. Go around the hill and jump up on to one of the tall platforms to reach the pop machines by a series of jumps. To get the free pop, simply talk to the machine, say "No", then kick it. It will either give you a pop or explode. If it explodes, enter the house to find the Junk Store Manager and his wife. You can buy items, and sometimes parts, from them. If the pop machine exploded, after exiting the building, go talk to it again, say "No" and kick it. Repeat this until getting a free pop.

Hint: Bad deeds:
When you first enter the city at the beginning of the game, do no good deeds unless it is required for progression of the game. Do bad deeds, such as kicking the can at the entrance into the Jetlag Baker to get 1,000 zenny, and kicking drink machines. Eventually Megaman will turn dark blue, and his kicks as well as his other attacks will become stronger. If you keep doing bad deeds, he will turn black. Note: If you do any good deed after turning darker, Megaman will turn back to normal and this will have to be repeated.

MEGAMAN X3

Final stage:
Enter the stage select screen and highlight the "X" logo. Quickly press Down + Square + X. The cursor will move to the bottom of the screen to confirm correct code entry.

Zero's Light Sabre:
Enter 7357,7533,6462,7835 as a password to start a game with that weapon.

All enhancements:
Enter 6414,4155,6872,3356 as a password to start a game with the special capsules (Double Air-Dash, Hyper Charger, Super Armor, I. Tracer) already obtained.

Hint: Defeating Byte:
Another way to defeat Byte is to intentionally run into him when he shoots his pod across the screen, right before he dashes. He will dash across the screen and leave Megaman with just a small amount of damage.

MEGAMAN X4

Megaman X's Ultimate armor:
Highlight Megaman X at the player selection screen. Press Circle(2), Left(6), then hold L1 + R2 and press Start. Note: Hold L1 + R2 until game play begins. For the Japanese version, press X(2), Left(6), then hold L1 + R2 and press Start. Enter a special armor capsule to receive the new armor.

Zero's black armor:
Highlight Zero at the player selection screen. Hold R1 and press Right(6). Release all buttons, then hold Circle and press Start. For the Japanese version, hold R1 and press Right(6). Release all buttons, then hold X and press Start.

Animation sequences:
Begin game play and leave the game unattended for approximately ten minutes. Megaman and Zero's animation sequences will eventually being to play.

Hint: Capsule locations:

Armor capsule

Go to Magma Dragoon level and proceed until reaching the part of Volcano Area 2 where you have the armor. Get into it and dash jump towards the platform. Get on to the platform, then charge twin slasher to full power and destroy the blocks in front of you. Pass through and get the armor upgrade.
Helmet capsule

Go to the Cyber Peacock level and get a S rank on the third stretch with the yellow balls that drains your energy. This is difficult to accomplish, but possible.
Leg capsule

Go to the Web Spider level and proceed to the part with the waterfalls. When you drop down to the section below the part with the spike spinning on the platform, just go through the gap on the right side wall opposite to the hole.
Arm capsule

Go to Storm Owl Area 2 with all the laser cannons. Get to the section with the hole in the ceiling, with spikes on the floor and each side of the wall. Use the lightning web weapon to jump onto the platform. Above it are two capsules. One allows your fire four shots in a row and the other allows you to fire a plasma bolt. The best choice is the plasma bolt, as it keeps hitting the enemy after the first hit.
Ultimate capsule

Begin game play as Dark X. Go to the Web Spider level and proceed to where the leg capsule was located. Instead, you will receive the ultimate armor. This allows unlimited nova strike, unlimited none charged special weapons, hover in midair, and the ability to shoot plasma bolts.

Hint: Spider Boss:
When you get to the spider boss, dash slide away to dodge his webs, then jump over it.

Hint: Float in mid-air:
Get the fire weapon from Dragoon. Jump and repeatedly press Square to float in mid-air. It helps you do not have the Rocket Boots.

Double cyclone is effective in the air since it stops X short and gives him a little more time and distance. Charge up rising fire and jump in the air. When you reach your highest point in your jump, release the charge. You will boost up for a double jump.
