I placed the potted flowers on my best friend's grave.
How I hated doing this.
It has been seven years, but I hadn't been able to forgive myself.
I could have listened.
But I didn't.
I could have helped.
But I didn't.
Why? you ask. Fear.
Claudia was always a great friend, and will always be my best friend. I just wished that I had helped her. But FEAR kept me away. Daina had tried to kill the Midnight Wolf, but had failed...I stroke a match and lit the candle for Daina's grave...The Mdnight Wolf was still out there, but only I had managed to escape. Yes, that's right. Elizabeth and Katherine are gone too. I knelt down before the four graves. "You'll always be my friends," I whispered. "Cause there might not always be a Midnight Wolf, as of this summer, it has one tooth. The Midnight Wolf has ONE tooth. SO when we meet again, I'll be able to tell you Claudia. I'll be able to tell you Claudia, that maybe this is a sort of hapy ending. The Midnight Wolf has one tooth. But you know I'll keep going for ya'll. Don't be jealous, Daina, cause I know you are probably." I chuckled osftly. "We never did get to see the Coolers, did we? And I found out that the Bumblebees aren't so bad." I put on my leather black and yellow jacket and headed for my car.
