| No Goalie During a game, pause the game by pressing the Start button. Select Controller Setup and move your controller to the opposing team. Next, select Team Options. Under Goalie Status, you should find an option to pull the goalie from the game. Do this, and return the controller to your original team. The opposing team will now have no Goalie! To restore the Goalie, repeat the steps and choose to return the Goalie. Superstar Forward At the create-a-player screen, enter "Peter Forsberg" or "Jaromir Jagr" as the player's name. When prompted, use his ratings, and adjust them to your liking. NHL Challenge points can also be used to boost their attributes. If you wish, you can now return to the previous screen and change your player's name. Superstar Defender At the create-a-player screen, enter "Sandis Ozolinsh" or "Chris Pronger" as the player's name. When prompted, use his ratings, and adjust them to your liking. NHL Challenge points can also be used to boost their attributes. If you wish, you can now return to the previous screen and change your player's name. Superstar Goalie At the create-a-player screen, enter Patrick Roy", "Dominik Hasek", or "Ed Belfour" as the player's name. When prompted, use his ratings, and adjust them to your liking. NHL Challenge points can also be used to boost their attributes. If you wish, you can now return to the previous screen and change your player's name. Three Minute Power Play To get a three minute power play, first, get into a fight, but don't hit the other player. Just stand there and take the pummeling. If you must, take control of the computer player (go to the pause menu and switch team-alignment). If you lose the fight, you'll get a two minute minor for Roughing, while the computer player will get a five minute major for Fighting. Once your player is out of the penalty box, you'll have a three minute power play! |
