| Press Releases At recent press release for the PSX2, the future of Sony's gaming department, a new digital "Dual Shock" analog controller was unveiled, along with a large capacity memory card (exact size of card wasn't revealed, but guess' put the size anywhere from 45 blocks all the way up to 300!!!). Many game developers, publishers, and software tool makers gathered in support of this technical accomplishment, some of the most noted there were Namco, who has already slated Ridge Racer Type 5 to be released simultaneously with PSX2, and Polyphony, who is in the process of developing a Gran Turismo 2000. Many rumors surround the GT2K, whether it will be a new game, or a graphically-enhanced version of GT2. The PSX2 will go up for sale online in Japan as early as Febuary 2000. |
