Easily Win Every Race

I'm amazed no one has posted this yet, but heres a really easy (but maybe long) way to place 1st in every race. Well, you
need to earn 1st yourself, but if you desperately need a win, and you find out your not going to get it, your pretty much
screwed into getting whatever place your in currently right? Well, your saying, "Of course not, thats why I have extra cars!"
You cant rely on extra cars in master my friend, so heres a way to get free extra cars so you can get infinite retrys! After your
almost finished with the race, and your gonna lose, just stop, turn back to the energy strip, and start destoying cars! You
know, you get an extra car every 5 vehicles you destroy? The rule still applies even after your doomed for last place! So just
kill 5 cars (shouldnt take too long...) and once you gain the extra car, simply kill yourself, or retire. You will then pay the life
you just gained and replay the race, without harming your precious reputation. You can also stock up on cars doing this trick,
if you want to waste 30 minutes of your time killing every car on the track....

Deadly Revenge

The worst thing about multi player in F-Zero is that when you die you're done and have no effect on the rest of the game. If
you do die hold A or B until the Retire screen comes up. A slot machine game will appear. In the game there are 6 symbols.
An X, A skull, P1 pic, P2 pic, P3 pic, and a P4 pic. The following combos do the following things;

X X X = A random life loss of a player.
sk sk sk = All players lose life.
p1 p1 p1 = Player 1 loses life.
p2 p2 p2 = Player 2 loses life.
p3 p3 p3 = Player 3 loses life.
p4 p4 p4 = Player 4 loses life.

This has an amazing effect on the outcome of the race

Using Boost Wisely

When you are racing and you get boost power after completing the first lap you can use a boost to your advantage. You know
about the yellow arrows that give you boosts when you ride over them. Well, when you get boost power, you hit B for boost
before hitting the yellow arrow. When you go over the arrow you will stop loosing your energy. So for the amount of time you
hit B and go over the arrow , that is how much power you will lose.

Almost Unlimited Boost

To do this you must set the VS handicap to +2 and go into multiplayer. Start a race as usual and complete 1 lap. Then have
one person turn around and drive backwards. If a boost is used it will only use up a fraction of the energy that a normal boost
uses! You can reach amazing speeds this way. This has no use in racing but is great for setting speed records.

Title Screen Changes

To have the title screen change to a comic book motif, beat F-Zero X on Expert. For a second change, beat the game on
Master difficulty.

Shortcuts

Mute City II - Right after you make the third hard turn, you will see a ramp to the left that looks like it will lead you off track.
If you hit it with a booster, you will fly over the gap and onto the next strip of tracks.

Mute City III - This is not hard but it puts you about ahead of 4 cars!!!!!! On the part with a jump on the left side and then
the right side, use a boost on the left one and when you land use a boost on the one to the right and then hold R skip that one
turn.

Space Plant - When you are going up that hill at the beginning right before you go up it use a boost or two and you will go in
the air pull forward a little and fly to where that one curve is where you drive into the tunnel.

Rainbow Road - First make sure your car is not at max speed. (when you set the settings for your car) Then when you get a
boost start, keep going until the guard rail disappears and fall off the right or the left and then move back onto the track. You
should pass 10 cars doing this!!!!!!

Sector B - When you are going towards the end with those traps and the purple pit where you charge up your power, right
before it there is a hill when you are going up it and the guard rail disappears, use a boost and go off the left side or right side
at the top of the hill and you will go way in the air then you should land in the purple pit where you can charge up your power.

Red Canyon 2 - This one only puts you 1 or 2 seconds ahead of the race. This is the hardest one. When you are going into
the tunnel and come out there will be a hill after it. Use a boost or two and when you go in the air go to the track with a hill
going backwards from where you came. (not the track with a green wall beside it) Fall onto that track. You might get hurt but
if you are a master you should land safely on the track.

Make Your Model Car Stop Moving

When you are picking the settings for your car and you probably notice how your car spins in a annoying fasion. If you want it
to just stop, then press all 4 C-Buttons at the same time. Your car will just sit there without moving. Just make sure you hold it
or else your car will start spinning again

Camera Glitch

This trick/glitch is an extension of the "Blow up through finish line" trick. When you blow up through the finishing line, try to
position your car in the middle of the track. Hopefully you finished in first, and if so, it is almost certain another car will hit you
and destroy you. Now, as the race is over and the stats are being shown, the camera will be focusing on nothing but the track.
A weird glitch that is cool to try out.

Blow up through finish line

If you're in the lead with no energy left and you're about to cross the finish line, you can ram the side of the track and blow up
through the finish line! It will only work if you are still sliding and shooting sparks... once you actually blow up into smitherenes,
it won't work. Have fun! The camera will also zoom in on your corpse!

Ghost Times

If you beat a certain time in the Time Attact Mode, you will unlock a ghost which is hard to beat. (harder than the Master
Mode) Here are the times:

Leader Timer

During any GP race in F-Zero X, press the L button to see how far behind you are from the leader, or how far ahead you are
of the second place vehicle. The time will appear at the upper right hand corner of the screen.

The Ultimate Code (All Tracks, Cars, Difficulties)

So much for Nintendo never including button codes in their games: By inputting the following key combination, you can have
all the cups available, including the hidden X-Cup and Joker. It also gives you all 30 cars, and gives you the extra difficulty
level, Master.

Here is the code -- but remember -- earning stuff is more fun than cheating: L, Z, R, C-up, C-down, C-left, C-right, Start.
Input this code at the Mode Selection screen and you should hear a chime.

X-Cup

Beat all four cups (including Joker) on Expert difficulty and you will unlock a fifth, "special" cup called the X-Cup. The X-Cup
is a random track generator that will create six new tracks (X1-X6) everytime you play. You cannot earn "X" marks on this
cup, but it is available in different difficulties.

Master Difficulty Level

Defeat the Jack, Queen, King, and Joker Cups on all all three difficulty levels to access the super-hard Master level.

Small Deformed Cars

At the car selection screen, press and hold L, R, and the four C-buttons and you will see the car shrink. Now you can play
with smaller cars!

Joker Cup

Beat the Jack, Queen and King cups on Standard difficulty and another cup, the Joker Cup, with six all new tracks will open
up.

Make the Ships Wiggle in a Tempting Fashion

At the Ship Select Screen press these four buttons at the same time:

R Button + L Button + left-C + down-C

Strangely, the ships all move together as if taunting your feeble efforts to find them. Then again, this could be the start of a
longer code.

Ship Color Change and Rotate

At the ship stats screen: (Right after you select your ship) Press the Z or R button to scroll through the alternate color
schemes. Use the C buttons to fully rotate your selected ship.
