Steel Force was a major addition to Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in the summer of 1997. The ride became the fourth adult roller coaster at Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom. It is the longest, tallest and fastest coaster in the Northeast. Designed by D.H. Morgan Manufacturing, Inc. of La Selva Beach, California, this 200-foot-high mega-coaster takes passengers on a three-minute journey over one mile of track at speeds topping 75 m.p.h. Passengers are lifted 200 feet in the air, hurl 205 feet to the ground, soar through a 120-foot-long tunnel, and then race up another 161 feet. Steel Force thrills its passengers with a wild ride of more than one mile through a maze of hills, drops, camelbacks, twists and turns.
