Adventureland Amusement Park is located in Des Moines, L.A. Its a small to mid-sized park with four roller coasters. The biggest thing I have against Adventureland is that they don't seem to believe in maintenance for there coasters. The Tornado loudly screeched around turns, the Dragon was needing a serious paint job, and the Outlaw queue line needs to have its vandalism taken care of. Other than those few problems, Adventureland is a very solid park. The rides there are not to shabby.
The Mixer and Invertor were probably the best whirl and twirl rides I've ever rode. The Tornado was TERRIBLE. It was to rough and scared me to the point that I thought it would fall apart. The Dragon is an interesting design for a small looper. The roughness on it is at least tolerable and with the lines being as skippy as they are. This is a nice ride to encounter between the
log flume and river ride. The Underground is a nice ride everyone will enjoy. Its not bad for a theme ride if you can laugh off the themeing. The Outlaw is the best ride in the park. It has plenty of airtime and lateral G's will keep you screaming the whole time.
I'd recommend Adventureland to anyone in the Des Moines area. Its not a park I'd make specific plans for though.
