As you enter the hall, you are awe struck by the tiled floor. By some trick
of the light, or by magic, the tiles seem to flicker red like coals in a fire,
giving the entire entry way a warm inviting feeling.
As you peer closer, you see that some tiles are chipped, and others missing,
but in all it's still a marvel.
And as if on cue, a spot on the floor glows brighter for a moment, then dims.
Talk to the Glowing Chip:
A deep resounding voice speaks:
"I do not see your name on the list. But enter anyway... Non-Spellcaster.
Be Warned, there are things in this Tower worse than death."
Go West and flip Illuminating Paintings on
West again and you are burned by flames (these really
tend to hurt, hence the absence of Spellcasters here)
West again and Talk to the Guards: They ask you if you should be pulling levers,
answer "Yes, which ones?"
The Sergeant points to the lever on the wall.
"How about those? Uh.. hey, there used to be more than one switch there..."
*shrug* "There are also 4 hidden Towers, maybe one of those has some little
levers for you?"
Talk to guards again: The Sergeant walks quickly over
to you and pokes you in the chest, and walks away, saying...
"Yep. He's real alright, could have swore he was fake just standing there when
there's lever to be pulled."
Choose to show him you are real and they will Fight:
5 TowerGuard Grunts
1 TowerGuard Sergeant
2 golden Fire Flies
(Total: 215,000 Exp and 4000 Gold)
Wait until 8:00 and some swithces will appear:
Tower Guard: Flip to off | 270 | 200 | 50 | 0
Flip to 0 and then wait for an hour:
Demon Hound: Flip to off | 200 | 250 | 50 | 0
Again, flip to 0 and wait for an hour:
Minor Fire Elemental: Flip to off | 100 | 200 | 5 | 0
Flip to 100, wait an hour:
Fire Ants: Flip to off | 270 | 200 | 50 | 0
Flip to 0 and wait an hour:
At around 12:00 a Floating Head apears, Talk to it: The
Glowing head turns to look at the switches and shrugs, which is hard to do for
a head.
A pair of glowing lips speak...
"That doesn't look right, but what would I know, I'm just a head?"
Pick up the key to the South West Tower.
Go South and Fight: 2 Golden Fire Flies
Go South again and Fight:
1 Demon Hound
1 Golden Fire Ant
(Total: 167,500 Exp and 1200 Gold)
Go South again and talk to guards, bother them a lot
and they will Fight:
5 Tower guard Grunts
1 Tower Guard Sergeant
(Total: 175,000 Exp and 3800 Gold)
Exit combat and then Fight: 4 Golden Fire Flies
(Total: 80,000 Exp and 400 Gold)
Don't go West, the only thing there is the book of Evil
Thoughts. This is a BAD thing.
Instead, go South to Fight: 2 Golden Fire Flies
(Total: 40,000 Exp and 200 Gold)
Go South and Fight: 2 Demon Hounds
(Total: 175,000 Exp and 1600 Gold)
After this, a hammer falls on your head, it hurts a fair
bit, (around the 70 or 80 mark, but sometimes only in the 30's)
Go West into a Fight:
6 Golden Fire Flies
(Total 120,000 Exp and 600 Gold)
Go East again (be prapared for that hammer)
Go South and Fight:
1 Golden Fire Fly
2 Minor Fire Elementals
(Total: 115,000 Exp and 1000 Gold)
South again is another Fight: 2 Golden Fire Flies
(Total: 40,000 Exp and 200 Gold)
Go South again and find yourself in another Fight:
1 Golden Fire Ant
2 Golden Fire Flies
(Total: 120,000 Exp and 600 Gold)
Talk to the Guards and tell them they stink, this will
obviously make them Fight:
5 Tower Guard Grunts
1 Tower Guard Sergeant
2 Golden Fire Flies
(Total: 215,000 Exp and 4000 Gold)
Go South again and use the key to Unlock The South West
Tower
Go West
Some switches appear at 14:00
(after each, wait an hour for the next)
1: Flip to off | Soot | Ash | Ember
2: Flip to off | Drop | Stream | Ocean
3: Flip to off | Soil | Sand | Rock
4: Flip to off | Wind | Breeze | Calm
5: Flip to off | Past | Present | Future
(I have not yet figured out the combination for these, but will post it as soon
as I do.)
Pick up the Key to the North West Tower
Go East again, talk to the Guards once more if you want
but as you have already killed them, you may be disappointed
Go East again, this time you can Fight:
2 Golden Fire Ants
2 Golden Fire Flies
(Total: 200,000 Exp and 1000 Gold)
Go North for the same Fight:
2 Golden Fire Ants
2 Golden Fire Flies
(Total: 200,000 Exp and 1000 Gold)
Go East and talk to shopkeeper. Now, if you didn't heed
my warning, and you read the Book of Evil thoughts and were wondering why your
hits had suffered, you will have to buy the remedy (Book of Good Thoughts) from
this shopkeeper. You can try to force him to give it to you, in which case he
will summon Guards for you to fight as many times as you want, so it can be
like a training area.
Go West and South back to where you were before
Then go East into a Fight:
Two Golden Fire Ants
Two Golden Fire Flies
Two Demon Hounds
(Total: 375,000 Exp and 2600 Gold)
Go East and Talk to the Tower guards, offer to Stick
a lever where the sun doesn't shine and funnily enough they will Fight:
5 Tower Guard Grunts
1 Tower Guard Sergeant
1 TowerGuard Elite
(Total: 275,000 Exp and 4600 Gold)
Go North and Fight:
1 Golden Fire Ant
1 Golden Fire Fly
1 Demon Hound
(Total: 187,500 Exp and 1300 Gold)
Go East and Fight:
2 Golden Fire Ants
(Total: 160,000 Exp and 800 Gold)
Go West and South and then continue on your treck East,
right into a Fight:
2 Golden Fire Ants
2 Golden Fire Flies
2 Demon Hounds
(Total: 375,000 Exp and 2600 Gold)
East again into another Fight:
2 Golden Fire Ants
2 Golden Fire Flies
(Total: 200,000 Exp and 1000 Gold)
Go north twice, here you can pick up the Fire Shield
- Fire Shield is a Shield with a 1 to block and 200 damage points
If you want to fight lots more guards in another training
area style scenario, just choose to rough up the shopkeeper.
Otherwise, go back South twice to where you were
Go East and talk to the Tower Guards, I'm sure you know
how to get them to Fight:
5 Tower Guard Grunts
1 Tower Guard Sergeant
2 Golden Fire Flies
(Total: 215,000 Exp and 4000 Gold)
Go North and Fight:
1 Golden Fire Ant
2 Golden Fire Flies

Now there is a letter:
"Dearest Hero,
I see that you have taken the challenge of Ember's Tower. It's seems only fair
to warn you that you must gain access to all 3 levels in order to solve the
puzzle of the levers correctly. Right or wrong, which isn't always bad, you
will recieve a key to the next Tower. Not until the end will you know if you
have set them correctly. And by then, it's too late. I feel that in good faith
I must warn you of this, for I would not want you to get too discouraged...
*evil laugh*

Go North again and this time Fight:

Go North again and into yet another Fight:

North is another Fight:

Go North again but this time walk past the Guards (As in:
Don't Kill Them Yet!!)
Instead, go East and Fight:

1 Minor Fire Elemental
(Total: 395,000 Exp and 2400 Gold)
Go West and then North - Again, do NOT talk to the Tower
Guards yet
Fight: 1 Golden Fire Ant
To the North is another Fight: 1 Golden Fire Ant
Go East for a Fight: Minor Fire Elemental
(This is where Wizards who have managed to pick up any tokens from the Tower
Guards they killed, can use them to get potions from the Vending Machine here,
Non - Spellcasters cant use this facility.)
Then go West and North into a Fight: 1 Golden
Fire Ant
Go North again and use the key to Unlock the North East
Tower
Don't bother the Guards yet
Go East and be prepared for a Fight:
1 Demon hound
4 Red Behemoths
4 Cats
(Total: 81,180 Exp and 2800 gold)
After that, there are another series of Switches
Switch One appears at midnight
Switch Two at 2:00
Switch Three at 4:00
Switch Four at 6:00
Switch Five at 8:00
Switch Six at 10:00
(Again, I am as yet uncertain as to which of these switches
need to be pulled)
At 11:00 the Floating Head appears and gives you the key
to the South East Tower
Back to the West, talk to the Guards, they can be provoked
to Fight:
5 Tower Guard Grunts
1 Tower Guard Sergeant
2 Golden Fire Flies
(Total: 215,000 Exp and 4000 Gold)
Go West twice and Flip the Flaming Longsword on
Go back East Twice and then go South four times to where those Guards were
Choose to Try for the Second Level, if you have over 10 million exp, the Guards
will unlock the door for you
Go West, flip the Tower Switch on and go Down
to the next level
