You're standing in the centre of a huge pit. The miners
must have once carved this whole area out from the ore, but it must have been
abandoned for some time. There are many fresh Imp footprints running around.
To the West are some training grounds with:
- 1 Imp
- 1 Imp Leader
- 1 Evil Eye
- 1 Hell Hound
If you go South, you can talk to the
Sleeping Imp, who will fight you with his pal, but other than that, just
go North twice to Fight:
1 Evil Eye
1 Imp

'Four bloodstones line the corners of the room. The room
was not carved out by the Imps, but has been here for a very long time. The
stones glow brightly and you notice several imps enter and exit the room bringing
in red dust to keep their fires burning. Every time one drops a handful in you
notice the ground in the centre of the room glows a deep red. If you can find
a way to get all the bloodstones to glow brightly it may open a porthole. Each
stone has a label, North West - Decay, North East - Pain, South West - End,
and South East - Birth.'
Go East twice and you will Fight:

Total: 300 Exp and 24 Gold
Go East again and Fight:
1 Hell Hound
Take the White Potion, and your pick from:
- Demonic Dagger is a Melee weapon that does 1d10+1
damage
- Demonic Bracers is a Shield with a 15 to block and
50 damage points
- Demonic Robe is body Armour with a 12 to block and
100 damage points
- Demonic Darts is a Missile weapon that does 1d8+1
damage with 100 rounds left
Go West again and then North twice to Fight:
1 Evil Eye
Flip the Switch of Pain on
Then go West to Fight: 1 Apprentice Mistress
Go back East and South twice, then West four times for
a Fight: 2 Imps
(Total: 300 Exp and 24 Gold)
Go West again to Fight: 1 Hell Hound
Pick up the Yellow Potion (Yellow Potion is a potion that heals Hit Points for
* points)
Go East and South twice for a Fight: 1 Evil Eye
Then Flip the Switch of the End on and go North four times for another Fight:
1 Evil Eye
Switch the Switch of Decay on and go East for a Fight:
1 Flesh Hound
Go West and then South twice, East four times and South
twice.
Then Fight: 1 Evil Eye
Flip the Switch of Birth on and go back North twice and West twice for the Book
of Learning.
Go North to Fight: 2 Evil Eyes
(Total: 700 Exp and 60 Gold)
