At age 21, Cloud Strife leads the life of a mercenary for hire. As an Ex-member of soldier, his fighting skills are in high demand. Cloud joins the group AVALANCHE for their first strike against one of Shinra's huge mako reactors thats surround the city of Midgar.
The story line of Final Fantasy 7 revolves around Cloud. In fact, most the time ur required to have him in your party because he plays a key role in most of the events in the game. Over time Cloud proves to be a great asset, because his powerfull sword technique is nearly unmatched. You'll want ot keep Cloud in your front line most of the time to take full advantage of his sword techniques. His magic skills are solid, but dont overload him with meteria.
Couds Limit Breaks
LEVEL ONE
Braver
Cloud performs a leaping chop that splits a singlr enemy in two. Unless your facing a really strong enemy that isnt a boss, this is usualy your best level one limit break. The attack is stronger than cross-slash, so it usually kills weaker enemies.
Cross-Slash
With several powerfull slashes, Cloud causes massive damage to a single opponent. If the enemy survives the attack, there is a chance that it may cause paralysis. It can't paralize enemys who are normally immune to paralyze, like most bosses.
LEVEL TWO
Blade Beam
Waves of energy rush from Clouds sword and collides with a single enemy. The remaining energy then splits into smaller, weaker waves, hitting remaining enemys. This attack is great against a large group of weaker enymies. Always target the strongest enemy in the group, because the innitial wave causes three times more then the smaller secondary waves.
Climhazzard
Cloud skewers a sinlge enemy then leaps high into the sky to cause greater damage. This is best used against a single opponent or any really strong opponents you encounter. Eventually you'll find that the blade beam will become inafective, but the Climhazzard will be useful throughout most the game.
LEVEL THREE
Meteorain
While leaping into the air, Cloud unleashes a barrage of meteors upon a group of foes causing up to for seperate hits. This is actually used best against a single enemy, unless the tageted group is fairly weak. Used against one opponent, this attack can cause as much as 12,000 points of damage.
Finishing Touch
Cloud creates a large whirlwind that sucks a group of enemys into oblivion, wich causes then to immediatly perish or suffer extensive damage falling back down.most opponents will simply perish, but larger enemys like bosses will always fall back to the ground. Save this limit break for groups of enemys-it's completly wasted against a single enemy.
LEVEL FOUR
Omnislash
Cloud assaults his opponent with a long series of powerful sword attacks. This can be used against a single opponent or a group; either way this is an extremly powerful attack. With the correct sword in hand, this attack can cause just as much, if not more, damage than the fabled "Knights of The Round" meteria. |
