JOEY
Joey went a Party
Joey had a Drink
Joey chose to Drink and Drive
Joey was in an accident
His parents came there too
The doctor said that Joey was dead
And his sister was in the other seat
And his parents; he left them blue
I wondered what would have happened to Joey
If he hadn't had that drink
I wonder if he would still be alive
I wonder if he could see me now
MOMMY WON'T SEE ME ANYMORE
I crawled into my car
"Wow, what a night"
I turned the key
Turned on; when the lights
I grabbed out a beer
Just one wont do any harm
But I soon ended up on the pavement
Crying for help and alarmed
I wanted to cry out to my mom
I wanted to try to fix everything
But I was helpless, I couldn't do anything
I looked around, my leg isn't there
I look around, I start floating in the air
I don't deserve to go to heaven, my mom taught me well
I shouldn't be here, I should be down in hell
I ruined a little baby's life
Now he won't have a future
If only someone's mommy would teach her
It is not ok to drink and Drive
But now it is too late
The Angel rang Death's Bell
I'm sorry mom and dad, I ignored what you said
And now I deserve to go to Hell
Please Don't be Sad
It has been 33 years since the dreadful day, the day that we just came back from Jack Eve's party. We hadn't been drinking, so we could drive home. We got in the car and turned the key. We laughed together about what had happenend that night. We started down the street talking about what we wanted to be. I said I wanted to be a Pilot, and he said he wanted to help people. We turned on the intersection, I don't know what happenend next, it all goes blank, and then I remember being carried in a stretcher. I remember getting wheeled into the hospital. "He was hit by a Drunk Driver", they said. I tried to yell out my best friend name but I couldn't talk. I woke up in the hospital bed, by mom and dad standing next to the bed. I asked if Jim was ok, they said "Honey, Jim is dead". How could this be? He was only Sixteen? It wasn't fair. Jim, if your up there, I'm still remembering you.

Teary Eyed Angels look below
Another child killed by an alchohol foe
Teach that male, teenager or mother
Not to drunk and drive, it could've killed your brother
You made a person die, now you pay the price
All you have to pay is your head in a vise
This child was murdered, Why, mommy Why?
Sweet little child, I can't explain, even if I try

Dad I heard what you said about Drunk Driving
I heard you Daddy loud and clear
And Daddy even though I pretended as if I weren't listening
Your words of death Daddy are clear
I love you so much Daddy but it just wasn't my night
Don't worry daddy I put up a fight
Daddy I didn't drink and drive
Daddy Another Drunk Driver did
Daddy Why should I be the one to die, I'm just a kid
Daddy I'll miss you so much
Daddy I'll miss my father's touch
Daddy I'll remember you as I lay on the pave
Daddy I won't be around much longer, so write my words on my grave
"I tried oh so dearly,
Only one heard a word,
Why can't you understand
You hurt my family so much
Is it worth a year?
I was killed by a beer"
