| What is Pokemon?What is pokemon you ask hmmmm? Pokemon stands for pocket monsters. In other words it is a bunch of little monsters running around. Ok here is the story: In the game or show you are Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town. You are now 10 and now have your pokemon liscense. This lets you have pokemon train them and compete in various battles. Ok basically you are a child or adult that has or wants to collect all 150 pokémon. There is a list of all the pokemon on the pokedata page for my rpg members. Pokemon grow and evolve into bigger stronger pokémon with new attacks and bigger bodies. Pokemon learn new attacks as they grow and get experience points from when they battle. When pokémon have enough experience they can evolve and get attacks. For example if you are in the forest and catch a caterpie naturally you wnat to train it. So you begin battles and tain it. Caterpie earns levels from the battling and experience points. Caterpie might be level 2 beat a pokemon and become level 3 learning string shot or poison sting. When Caterpie continues growing and reaches level 7 it goes into a cacoon stage and becomes Metapod the cacoon like pokemon.Caterpie is of course like a caterpillar I might add.When you have Metapod he really isnt a good battler because he can only harden his exoskeleton (outer layer like on beetles)shoot strings to slow you down or thrust himself at you. Eventually he becomes level 9 or has enough experience to come out of his cacoon as Butterfree the butterfly pokmon. Some pokemon like evee for instance need a special magical stone to evolve like the Water stone Thunder Stone Fire Stone Leaf Stone and Moon Stone. In evee's case it can become vaporeon with the water stone,jolteon with the thunder,or flareon with the fire. Pikachu becomes Raichu with electric as does Clefairy and Jigglypuff becoming Clefable and Wigglytuff with a moonstone.These stones can be bought in celadon or found in various places like the moonstone.The bad guys (yup we have those too) are Jesse James meowth and the rest of team rocket. Not all meoth are bad though only team rockets. Team rocket might try and steal pokémon or anything.Now let me tell you quickly that pokemon are not naturaslly evil or bad (with the exception of meowth from team rocket) but there trainers make them obey and they have to do what they say (unfortunately). |
