Having Trouble Are you confused? Look here at my walkthrough

Pallet Town
You start off at your house, you can walk around if you want, but whats the point? Go down stares, and your mom will be there. Go out side, and talk to some people. Start north until you reach the high grass. When you walk in it, Prof. Oak will stop you and say you need a Pokemon. FOllow him to his lab and He'll let you pick one. But not before Gary walks in. Gary is Oaks grandson and your arch enemy since the begining of time. Now, you get to choose Pokemon. You can choose from Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasuar. The strongest is Charmander, the second strongest is Squirtle, and the third is Bulbasaur. I would choose bulbasaur because he can beat almost every trainer Brock,Misty,Giovanni and the rest almost.

Now Gary chooses a Pokemon. Now he'll leave. And you can to. But before you do, Gary shows up and asks you to fight. Now the battle screen comes up. If you loose, dont sweat it. You'll have more time to whoop him later. Now go to Gary's house, and his sister will give you a town map. Now head back out to the tall grass.

Route 1
On this route, you'll run into PIDGEY's and RATTATA's. Go strait, then left. Head up, then right. By now you should have run into a Pokemon. Fight them with your Pokemon. You cant catch them yet, cause you dont have a Pokeball. But still fight them, to gain points. Go upward, and then up one of the two openings. Go a little to the right and up. Keep heading up until you reach Viridian City.

Viridian City
Here in Viridian City, you must first go to the PokeMart. You'll walk in, and she'll ask you if you came to get Prof. Oaks gift. Take it back to Oak, and he'll give you and Gary a Pokedex. Your Job is too fill it with all 150 Pokemon, by meeting them and catching them. Now go back to Viridian City. The GYM has no leader, so you cant go in. He'll be back at the end of the game. Go north Until you reach Route 2.

Route 2
In route 2, you have a chance to catch some more Pokemon, including Caterpie, and Weedle. GO north until you reach a house. Walk in. In here you'll have a chance to trade to get Mr. Mime. But you cant now. Go out the opposite end of the house, and exit.

Viridian Forest
This place is a natural maze. But you can now catch Pikachu, Kakuna, Butterfree, Beedrill, and Metapod, plus Weedle and Caterpie. Go left, up and left again. You'll come to a dead end. But you'll see a ball. Stand in front of it and press "A". Its a Pokeball. Now you can catch one Pokemon. You can also go to a Poke Shop and buy them for 200 dollars. Go forward, and a little down. Now go right. Go all the way down, then left. Once at the end, there is a kid. He doesn't want to fight. Keep going up, and there's a "bug Catcher". He'll fight you. Beat him, and keep going up. Then there's another "Bug Catcher". Beat him, and keep going up. Once at the end there will be abother ball containing Antidote. Use this to heal your wounds. Go up and left. Follow this till the end of the forest, fighting one more "Bug Catcher". Route 2 (Extended) Now go to Pewter City.

Pewter City
Here you can stop by the Poke Center and Mart. But you cant go on to Route 3 until you beat the GYM leader, Brock.

Brock is easy to beat. But Charmander wont do any good againts his rock Pokemon. So use WATER, PLANT, ELECTRIC, or BUG. You will have to face GEODUDE, and ONIX. Once you beat him, you'll recieve the Boulder Badge and TM 34, which contains BIDE that you can teach to Pokemon.

Now your free to stop by the Pokemon Museum. Behind it is a secret lab, but you cant go there, so dont bother. Check out the Pokemon Museum if you want, then head on to Route 3.

Route 3
Now comes your first big challenge. You'll have to fight at leaste 6 trainers here. First is LASS. Once she's done off with, go up. Now fight all of the other trainers. Make your way all the way to the Poke Center, avoiding any trainers. Now prepare for Mt. Moon.

Mt. Moon
Now I will give you a full walkthrough off Mt. Moon. This will be awhile. So grab some Popcorn. And ambey a Pepsi.

First walk strait up, then go left. There are to items waiting at the top of this room, along with a trainer. Just stay away from him. Grab the potion and TM 12 in the balls, and head right until you can anymore. Go up, then right. You'll see some stairs. Walk up them. Go to the und of this corodor. Go through these stairs. Now there's a ROCKET there. FIght him, then go right. Walk up the small upgrade, and get the HP Up. Go back down the stair, and back to the main floor where you started. Now keep going right, then up. Be careful and go behind the trainer, unless you want to fight. Go all the way left, then down to the next set of stairs. Now go to the other stair case in this corodor.

You come out, there will be another ROCKET. Fight him, and go up the upgrade next to him. get TM 01, and get back to the main floor. Go down, left, and up. Grab the Moon Stone before going up the stairs. Now go up the stairs. Go down, the right. Go up these stairs. Go up and right, then down the stairs and fight ROCKET. Go up the next set of stairs, and follow this to the next ROCKET. Fight him, and go up the upgrade and fight SUPER NERD. Pick between the two fossils, and keep walking to the stairs. Go up them, then out of the next stair case.

Route 4
The only big thing about ROute 4 is TM 04. Get it, and head out.

Cerulean City
Here, you must fight MISTY. Fight here, and head up towards ROUTE 25-25, by going up through the city, all the way north, and over the Bridge.

Fab. 5
Now you must fight five trainers, than a ROCKET. THis will not be hard, just take forever. Once you fight them, try to catch an Abra in the tall grass. Now go up, and go up the upgrade. Get the TM, and head right. Now fight about 6 more trainers, avoiding as many as possible. Get ot the sea cottage, and transform Bill from the Pokemon that he is, back to human. He'll give you an SS TICKET. You'll use this for the S.S. Ann. Go over to his computer, and view his top 5 Pokemon. THis will add them to your Pokédex. Leave, and go down across the small bridge, following the path all the way back to the city. Now that you back in the city, go right, and in the house. GO out the back door, and the Rocket member will fight you. Now stay as far right as possible, with going into the next path, and jump down. Now there should be a strait away. Go down, then left. Follow the path to rioute 5.

Route 5
Follow route five, and go right to the medium sized building. Or take you Pokémon to the Pokemon Daycare. But this will cost you. GO into the building and through the path to route 6.

Now at ROute six, go strait down to Vermilion City.

In vermillion Figh Lt Surge The electric trainer with a voltorb pikachu an dvarious electric pokemon. To go to him you have to find the 2 switches to open the doors. After getting rid of him go around to the houses then walk over to the right past the first dock to go to The SS Anne.
