Gold / Silver Info Whats Gold/Silver Pokemon you may be asking yourself as you read this. These games are regarded as Pokemon 2. The game features about 250 new pokemon and many new cities. Each Pokemon will now have genders, male and female. With these different genders you will be able to breed Pokemon to compile some jubilant offspring. Not only that, but there will also be Nocturnal and Durnal Pokemon! That means night and day Pokemon, as you wander around during the day, then when you wander around during the night, the Pokemon you find in certain areas will be different. And becuase of this feature you will have to have 2 teams, becuase Nocturnal Pokemon sleep during the day and Durnal Pokemon sleep during the night. I doubt you wanna fight with a sleeping Pokemon. I am looking forward to this game. The game will need you to play every day to make sure you dont miss certain events. Yup they have tournaments on certain days and special stuff. That is why you will have to set the time and date.On Nov. 21, kids across Japan will get to play what they have been waiting over 2 years for. The game Pokémon Gold and Silver. Unlike the previous games variation of color these 2 are true to the core sequels.At Nintendo's Space World '99 expo, 280 game stations were set up,spilt betweengold and the silver versions(140 for each) The place quickly became jammed full of kids who waited in long lines only to play a sample of the game for 5-10 minutes.The game hopefully will be released in Fall of 2000.The game takes full advantage of 250 colors. Maybe it will be updated for the new gameboys coming with better colors.Everything is easier to see and a whole lot better looking. You can now print out your pokedex and stickers from the gameboy printer. The game begins the same with Oak telling you about pokemon and the legend will become yours now.The trainer wich is new in wakaba town (NOT PALLET) is not yet named but the names they used in the expo were Gold Hiroki Tetsuo and Takashi in gold and Silver Kamon Tooru and Masao in silver.The rival is more evil and has stolen pokemon from the new professor who gives you a pokemon. There are about 250 monsters.There are new evolved forms and unevolved . Some new ones are . Elekid Pikablu Slowking Armedvark Tenriyuu Otoshi Owlithe Rediba Togepi Kireihana Buru Itomaru Lugia Houou Psyke mereep and HEY!!! Why am i telling you all of them. I know almost all of them thanks to many places.Well there is a new thing called Pokegear it acts like a radio cellphone and more. When you brred you get an egg that you hav to take care of. You have new pockets now so things are more organised unlike before whenyou scrollled to find an item .There may be a TM pocket an HM pocket a health pocket with potions and stuff. Now in the game gymleaders can use items like you do. For instance your oponet may have 2 hp then they use fruit and their hp is a lot higher.Also you collect peoples phone #'s and can call them for advice.The show will be taking on the games characterisics like new pokemon and all.Thats all i have for now talk to you later bye. |
